Hope they changed corpses to not count as pets or increase the power/duration per corpse of skills that consume multiple corpses. If not it will damper a lot of my excitement about subclassing since it comes with an unjustified curb stomp to the identity of my character.

Just like GLS was a huge blow to my excitement for scribing which got me interested in the game again.

A birdie told me the bulk of balance changes will be next week instead of this week. Hoping that's not true and they come this week so there's more time to test, and hoping there's extensive balancing coming.

Yeah… I’m honestly feeling like 5 weeks is not enough and trying to balance the new trial and subclassing simultaneously was a bad move (haha buff the trial to match subclassing damage but nerf subclassing and now the trial’s too hard…).

The only balance changes that I will accept are ones that specifically target subclassed skills instead of the base class. I won't accept my favorite classes being gutted just so they can prevent overpowered combinations with subclassing.

Hopefully, this week will be interesting. I hope we get some meaningful changes that don't screw up the 'pure class' set ups.

Something needs to be done about GLS. In an ideal world, they would turn it back into a more offensive ability, or at the absolute least, make it similar to DK's flames of oblivion, just have it shoot spirits or wisps instead of fireballs. I just hope they don't break NB, Necro or Arcanist in this week's notes.

Hopefully we get some better passives. It would be wise to build in some synergies between skill lines for those who don't want to subclass to keep their damage competitive. (Also I hope they make better passives that carry over to werewolf🤞)

It would be great to see notes before the PTS goes live given last weeks notes said, "For those looking for combat updates, don’t worry. We’re giving you the heads up that next week will have a large chunk of combat adjustments. Stay tuned for PTS Week 4." so that we can hit the ground running when the PTS goes live as that's when there are lots of players to test things from duels, battlegrounds, dungeons and more!

After thinking carefully, I'm no longer happy, GLS should have been addressed, not beams, sad again.

I do not like longer duration skills so...

1. Still pointlessly hoping plar beam is returned to live version (PTS one still too long...).
2. Still pointlessly hoping for balance changes that would make DDing for trifectas on something other than a low CPM beamer possible.
3. Hoping they rethink pearls nerf (so that even my healer won't be trapped running a cast time skill (trample))....

Also:
Still hoping something is done to make sense of sorc skill lines.

Expectations: That I play and spend less.
