The Elder Scrolls Online v11.0.2 kicks off week 3 of the PTS Cycle. The main focus of this week's PTS update is to address a variety of fixes and improvements to the Seasons of the Worm Cult, Part 1 content. You will find fixes for Ossein Cage, a good chunk of quests, and overall improvements to smooth out gameplay. There are also fixes for new Base Game additions, like Hero’s Return and UI Modernization efforts.

For those looking for combat updates, don’t worry. We’re giving you the heads up that next week will have a large chunk of combat adjustments. Stay tuned for PTS Week 4.

Additionally, Whitestrake’s Mayhem is available for testing this week! There are also general fixes for Greymoor, Fallen Banners, Necrom and Base Game content. Those changes are outlined below.

    Event: Whitestrake’s Mayhem
    Mayhem returns! No shake-ups here, just the expected functions at this time (review the in-game help entry for all details). The new rewards include:
    • Truth in Wisdom armor set, with pages available from the Impresario for 5 tickets each or rarely from Pelinal’s Boon Boxes.
      • Arkay Unending Cycle style pages go into the Imperial City “sweeper” boss drop tables along with Dovah’s Du’ul. Sancre Tor Sentry pages go into Bags of Veteran’s Glory instead of from sweeper drops. Dovah’s Du’ul pages may also come from Bags of Veteran’s Glory if you have yet to collect them all.
    • The Impresario will start carrying the first two fragments, “Comfortable Spider Chassis” and “Dwarven Control Rod,” for the Law of Julianos Dwarven Spider mount, sold for 10 tickets each. The third and final fragment will come with a later event.

    • We have removed the Subclassing template from character creation. The Max Level template has everything this template had and more.
    • Heroic Unity can now be found in the Dungeon Heavy Item Sets container on template characters.
    • Tanlorin and Zerith are not automatically unlocked for template characters.
    • Perfected Kazpian's Cruel Signet container now has its Jewelry container.
    • The Crate of Rare Fish has returned to template characters.
    • The Mundus Stone consumable will no longer drop its Mundus Stone when you rezone.

    • Attack Animations
      • Though many have been fixed, some abilities still contain extraneous movement, particularly in the extremities (hands, tails, weapons, feet, etc.) which looks like twitching or shaking.
      • If casting while running diagonally, the character can be pointing up to 45 degrees away from the target (most obvious with beam attacks). This is a more exaggerated version of an issue that's always been a problem. The final fix should keep you facing your target.
      • Moving and jumping with a bow or two-handed melee weapon out can cause female characters’ arms to distort. This has been fixed internally and will be in the next PTS update.
      • Some weapon types such as Two-Handed, Bow, and Destruction Staff can pull the off-hand away from the weapon briefly and snap back when the ability is played through uninterrupted.
    • Ossein Cage
      • Seeking Spark Surge and Seeking Forge Fire do not deal damage. This will be fixed in a future update.

      • The Jewelry Writ box hand-in now spawns properly within the city.

      • Adjusted several wilderness encounters where enemies could spawn in poor locations.

      • You should not get locked out of specific conversations during and after the quest.
      • Fixed several conversation animation glitches with various NPCs.

      • Antiquarian Telderrin will now respond properly if you are noticed during the trespassing sequence.

      • Multiple typos fixed.
    • Honor Bound
      • You can no longer use doors while morphed into Honor.
      • The quest assist now points you to the correct door.
    • Candleflies for the Dead
      • You now have the candleflies in your inventory before entering Tainted Leel.
    • The Stirk Fellowship
      • Midconjuror Mirmal, who starts the main quest on Solstice, will now also spawn within the city at the main wayshrine.
      • You can now speak to certain NPCs from the intended distance.
    • The Regent of Sunport
      • Hostages no longer despawn without running away first.
      • You can no longer interact with Farinor in locations that are not intended.

      • Updated some visuals for the barge room scene.

        • We resolved various visual issues with textures, clipping, and gaps.
      • The Sleepy Sloth
        • The interior of The Sleepy Sloth has been restored to its intended visuals.
        • The quest, “A Room To Spare,” can now be completed when the quest starter is taken through the Crown Store.
        • Your location was now properly displayed on the map for the home.
      • Theater of the Ancients
        • The spotlights are now emitting light as intended.
        • The purchase menu for the home has the proper image present.
        • Adjusted the courtyard to be more smoothly traversed.
        • Prompt for leaving the home now properly says “Exit” instead of “Enter.”
        • We resolved various visual issues with textures, clipping, and gaps.

      • When teleporting to different areas, a randomly occurring crash due to the teleport should no longer occur. We suspect a temporal disturbance, but the jury is still out.

      • Thorns and Blossoms: You will no longer teleport people around you to Auridon when dismissing Tanlorin. See temporal disturbance note above.
      • A Moonlit Shadow: Added a gesture for Zerith when he talks after finding his moon claw.

      • Dear Cousins: Uggisar's ghost no longer haunts you everywhere in the world until you turn in the quest.

      • Unused keybind no longer appear on the Console UI login screen.
    • Hero’s Return
      • In the Golden Pursuits capstone reward dialog for mouse and keyboard, the "Next Campaign" keybind no longer displays when there is no next campaign.
      • Closing the capstone claimed dialogue now works as intended.
      • Opening Golden Pursuits after completing all Hero's Return campaigns will now automatically select the first subcategory in the list.
    • Housing
      • The search bar in the housing editor, while in Gamepad UI mode, is now being correctly focused on.
      • Relevant keybinds are now visible in the housing editor, while in Gamepad UI mode, during a search.
      • The search bar no longer loses focus while backspacing a search term in the housing editor, while in Gamepad UI mode.
    • Subclassing
      • Skill Styles can now be viewed while in preview mode of a skill line. You can view the preview in the Subclassing subcategory.
    • UI Style Modernization
      • Updated various minor in-game UI elements in accordance with the new UI style.
      • Adjusted the background of one login panel texture to match the new UI style more closely.
      • Fixed a rare issue that could occur if the request to interact with a station was canceled immediately.
      • Added the appropriate icon to the Sanguine Rose Pendant quest reward.
      • PvP campaigns in Group Finder will now refresh without requiring a relog when campaigns are enabled / disabled.
