Anyone getting a very slow/delayed 'PLAY' button to appear on LAUNCHER lately?

      It's obvious that this is a launcher issue, especially after the very recent "can't detect version, repair" issues.

      Since the patch, I usually get an error message and just ignore it or close and reopen the launcher. Today I started having problems with the "Play" button not appearing or taking forever to appear. I logged on the forums to see if other people are having the issue and here I am!...

      Yes, started happening after the last maintenance. Now launching the game through eso.exe shortcut.

      getting it right now, also after 3-4 mins keep getting booted out

      That doesn't work for me. It was one of the first things I tried, because I've seen graphics glitches like that before.

      Yes. Ever since the update. It has nothing to do with my internet connection.

      Yeah it's happening to me now over the weekend and it is completely arbitrary when it occurs. Sometimes closing the launcher and relaunching helps other times not. I have fiber internet, my ping is stable, my connection solid so I don't think it's a user end issue. I suspect it's when the server is being hammered.

        That sucks so far it is working for me will update later tonight during the rush and test.

        I’ve been having the same issue. Up to 45 seconds. But, I no longer get that patch manifest error. I wondered if the fix for that error resulted in the long play button. Idk though.

        Getting patch manifest errors, various other patch errors, and this delayed play button issue. My connection is 2.5 gig, at most 13 ms ping to most locations. In game I am usually 39 to 52 ms ping.

        Dont think it's a connection issue.

        Yeah it's perplexing tbqh , cuz for last couple days the 'PLAY' button was working great (normal fast) for me again.

        Then today, for whatever reason, it went back to 30-second delay.

        I'm stumped.

        Yes , I have the same issue on two different pc, same account, and vastly different hardware. Still getting random que timer also but it goes away after a few sec.

        Seems to be back to "normal" (so far) and neither of those 2 ^ things have happened to me (yet) .

        I found a consistent workaround (at least on my PC): click one of the dots to show a different announcement in the list that shows in a cycle, and the Play button immediately appears. This still needs to be fixed, though, there's clearly something wrong with the layout / visibility code for that button.

        I think it's actually happening AGAIN as it seemed to work (better at least) between the last patch and Monday's patch... then went to hell again.

        This has been going on for me since before update 33 just not as bad. Now sometimes I have to restart the launcher several times to get to the play button. Then when I do get into the game it will freeze and go non-responsive for a few minutes until it kicks me for inactivity, then and only then can I load into the game and pick my character. Apparently this has been a problem for sometime and honestly now that M$ is involved I wonder if these problems will go unfixed like so many Windows issues that never truly get fixed...ever.

        PS - I have done complete re-installs and tried running the game vanilla and it still does this, so it's not addons or a corrupt game file causing this, it is on their side, not ours.
