woe✭✭✭✭It's not a bug. They said that if you enable multithreaded rendering that your fps will be uncapped on loading screens and character selection. This is also common for games.uwu1 -
ZOS_BilladminAs mentioned above, enabling multithreaded rendering can lead to high GPU/CPU usage since FPS will be uncapped. Sitting still in Cyrodiil results in high gpu load, moving lowers the usage to about 65-80%
The game crashes every 20 min or so depending on the intensity of the fights. Most crashes do not prompt a bug report. The entire game is simply no longer open.
The game hard crashes the entire system after an hour or so.

✭✭✭✭✭The problem is that framerates are uncapped, even on the login screen. So it will always drive your GPU to 100%.
Here, I'm using FRAPS to show my FPS on the login screen:
And I'm using a midrange card from a few years ago (RX570). I imagine for someone with a beefier card, it'd be even higher than that.
The solution to this problem is to cap your FPS. Since you're limited by your monitor's refresh rate anyway, that would be a good cap to set. So if you have a 120Hz monitor, for example, you can cap it to 120 FPS.
The game does have a setting to cap your FPS, but this setting is unfortunately not exposed in the UI. You can, however, gain access to this setting via an addon.Nightfighters ― PC/NA and PC/EU

At .5ms 280Hz I don't think refresh is the issue...I can play this game at 210-231FPS 65-112ping, it just crashes, and it crashes the entire machine leaving no logs or bug report initialization.Edited by StihlReign on 20 September 2021 15:16"O divine art of subtlety and secrecy!
