    Hello,

i have the same problem every time in combat bevor a Enemy dies a short stutter appears. Bevor the update everything was fine...

The wierd thing is that this stutters only occurs on Normal Enemy not the small ones, that you can one shot

    Hello!

Same issue here, It was perfect before the patch and now im stuttering every time im in combat. It doesnt matter if its on cyrodiil, trial, or any other part of the map. I watn to clarify again that i do not have this issue before greymoor update (i have 2681 hours on this game and its first time its stuttering like this).

Same here, also have this stutters problem after last patch no matter how high the fps is or how low i have set in Graphic video setting this stutters wont go away.

Play in Windowed(Fullscreen) mode, after the patch i noticed the game have way lot smoother fps and way lot clearer prettier looks but when in combat when enemies dies(especially when they burst into flame/lightning) or other players casting some flashy AOEs skills the game will stutters for a sec like it skipped 1 or 2 frames. This doesn't happen at all before the last patch.

Having the same problem -- it seems to be related to experience gains in some way, as it happens to me after I kill an enemy, but also when I discover a new location.

Just to clarify, I was not having these problems before the new patch -- the only time I would get occasional frame drops was inside a main city or hub, now it happens every time I seem to meet the criteria above.

I find this to be pretty odd, as RivaTuner only shows me dropping 1-2 fps and my frametime stays at 16.6, but the frametime graph shows a massive spike and it is definitely a hell of a stutter visually.

Hoping it gets sorted out soon, as it's distracting to say the least.

For framerate issues like this one, the first thing to check is that all your drivers are up to date. You should also ensure Windows is updated along with removing add-ons that could affect performance. The following help article goes into more detail on these troubleshooting steps.

Already did everything there and no changes. Its not our issue, specially if a lot of ppl is having the same issue and having in consideration that it started after the patch (not really a suprise). ZOS did something wrong again and stuttering is the effect of it.

Moving camera closer to the plant is moving fps from 100 to 50 and decreasing CPU usage:

I appreciate that these kind of simple troubleshooting steps probably do help some individuals, but there's clearly something else going on with this specific update.

My drivers and Windows are current, and I don't play with any addons.

First of all, no graphic settings, drivers (already up to date) have been changed. I disabled all addons. Only happens when I kill mobs. Fix your game please

Yeah, I feel like this is tech support 101.... Have you tried turning if off and turning it back on again? I am by far no expert when it comes to computer performance, but just like i change the oil on my car, I update drivers, etc on my computer. I'm not a total idiot. Yet the first thing we get from ZOS is "go here to this page where we will tell you to turn it off and turn it back on again." there is clearly a performance issue with this release--as with all the others. The only thing different this time is i am one of the unlucky ones who has been severely impacted by whatever random alignment of 1s and 0s are getting screwed up between my computer and the game. It is obviously something wrong with the game. It played wonderfully monday night. I cannot play at all since the patch. Something in all those 1s and 0s ZOS added to their program is not playing nicely with all the 1s and 0s on my computer and as a result i have ever increasing latency coupled with ever decreasing FPS until i have to just give up after a couple minutes and log out. Unfortunately, I just paid the 6 mos sub, so I am stuck here for a long time :/

After playing for some time and pay attention to the stutter issue, can confidentially say so far stutter only happen when receive exp (mod kill, discover a new place and quest complete).

Theres definetly an issue with the game right now. I used to have my game capped at 144fps. In glenumbra my FPS is horrible, here I am sitting at a non-populated wayshrine

And here I am on auridon:

Doesnt matter which rig you are running, everyone is supposed to have way less FPS in big cities....

Hi, please look into the issues with mobs dying and shuttering. I am sure that it is something related to the update as it was not there prior to greymoor.

This makes some part of the game unplayable in instances where a lot of mobs die together. It is also very glaring to look at if the screen stops every time a mob die. If they die one after another, it feels like fps has dropped to <10.

Turning all graphics to low, and removing all addons were not effective in removing the problem.

Really would appreciate looking into this. Thanks.

Seems to be a memory leak while running the game...I had a similar issue with another game recently which was acknowledged by the devs of that game. That issue was related to NVIDIA cards and drivers which appeared after an update to that game.

    This is getting frustrating.

Not only the launch was disastrous and unprofessional, so many new issues came out of the patch. I was at least expecting that you guys would acknowledge that and fix the performance issue instead of pushing it to customer support.

The worst thing is that I tried making a customer support ticket and was unable to.

I could not even properly play a game I paid so much money for. Utterly unprofessional at this point. This is absolutely not how you treat your customers.

And from what I can see, it seems that you guys would just let few of us with the problem quietly "quit" after being frustrated by the constant lag and just forget about it. I really hope that you will prove me wrong on this.

Hello everybody. I noticed this problem immediately after installing the Greymour update. The problem is this: there is a loss of frames when you use the AOE skills "Elemental storm", "Impuls"; DOT animation by Blackrose Destro Staff; and other AOE skills. The problem of reducing FPS arises at the time of killing monsters, when there are more than 5 of them. Also, the decrease in FPS occurs for 1-2 seconds, while ping may increase. On average, FPS drops 15-35 frames. I did absolutely all the points indicated in the recommendations https://help.elderscrollsonline.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/32450/ - none of the above helped. (i5-3570k / rx570 / 8Gb RAM / SSD SAMSUNG 860 EVO)

Hi everyone, I started facing massive stutters after the Greymoor patch. It also seems to be related to exp gains for me.

This is a response from @ZOS_JessicaFolsom in another thread.

    "Hey everyone,

We wanted to let you know that we investigated this and have a fix in testing that will then go out in an upcoming incremental patch sometime after next week's. The issue looks to impact only those who have skills on their skill bar that are not maxed out.

Thanks again for bringing this to our attention and sharing helpful details."

However, I've tried it on numerous characters with/without maxed skills, alongside disabling all add-ons, repairing the launcher, ensuring that all graphic drivers are up to date etc. but the problem still persists. It makes the game quite unplayable at times, especially in dungeons or trials where mobs are AOE-d down. I hope the team can look into this and not sweep it under the rug with a solution that may not be applicable to the problem.

Having the exact same issue, almost every time Deadly Cloack ticks on the enemy I get a stutter, its interesting because the fps remains the absolute same in any other stuff for me, but using almost any skill stutters like hell. Also on interesting note I noticed that playing as sorcerer there's less skills that caused the issue but it was still there while in combat. Tried updating everything bla bla bla opening a ticket 3 days ago and no response

On a side note I just realized it is indeed when you get xp that causes a stutter, has anyone come with a solution yet? It's driving me nuts, already tried running the repair.

The patch today did not fix any of the stuttering issues.

@ZOS_BillE, I've already opened a ticket with a game consultant report. I think it is quite obvious that it is not a hardware issue given that nothing has changed on any of our parts pre/post-Greymoor. I know only a small group of us are facing this particular issue but it is very disruptive to actual play and I hope that the team will not just sweep it under the rug.
