Also, they say EU server is down yet there are still people in the game on EU streaming. Yeah right.

EU might be down, but don't worry everyone, the crown crates will be up for sale.

sometimes you get the feeling that the eu server is only held together with tape and bubble gum.... i dont know any other mmo that has so consistantly that many issues with server quality... and since we dont hear anything to the contrary, at this point i have to assume that its a structural problem, zos is unable to fix....

Not so sure anyone wasted the bubble gum!

Yet funnily enough, NA is unaffected.

Because it's not a patching problem. I was able to log in without any problem at 17:00 CEST. This is a problem with the servers itselves - and the US servers are in a very different location, not even on the same continent.

And the EU servers don't get nearly as much attention as NA and NA servers don't have nearly as many issues as EU.

I know that the EU server hosting is tragic compared to US, but the US server is getting also worse and worse...

ZoS is just getting worse and worse, churning out new content, with no interest in fixing their current content.

Absolutely shameful that mistakes are just ignored and

Customers - PAYING customers - are just ignored. AGAIN.

Whoever is keeps letting this happen - why are they still being paid for to do a job that is obviously far beyond their skillset?? Look at the history of EU outages

After the recent pathetic attempts at 'fixing' the EU server, to think that no safeguards were put in place after that fiasco, to at least TRY and prevent this displays someone's ineptitude in a glaring light. Someone is being paid handsomely for a job that they either can't do, won't do, and/or don't care about.

Meanwhile, ZoS continues to milk its EU customer base without shame, and yet again, displays the utter contempt and disdain it has now become famous for.

Whilst I agree with the sentiment you're trying to convey, please proof read before posting to avoid running into the issue of irony being present, especially when commenting on ones ineptness.

We just posted a thread here, but we're currently experiencing an infrastructure outage and logins for PC EU will remain offline through the evening. We'll have an update for everyone tomorrow morning at the earliest.

Being in Australia, this is when I can play and I will miss out on a daily reward. Will I be compensated?

Was there ever a compensation for a missed login reward when it wasn't the players fault? Over here it's 11:54pm. So it doesn't matter if it's "tomorrow" EU or US. It's definitely too late for this days reward. Without "consideration" of this problem the last reward of the month is already out of reach.

But know that daily rewards are reset at 2 a.m. in EU

Staying up until 2 am isn't really an option for some of us. They should just give us the gold, not only are we missing the gold from the last day of rewards, I'm also missing my writs and dailies :/

The game's gone downhill, people are getting sick of the constant downtime we're facing. Paying customers, either having bought the game, or are paying for a subscription, having bought the game, are missing out due to incompetence.

We are being kept in the dark, bugs are being overlooked, or fixed at a later date, if we're lucky.

People are frustrated and annoyed, and they've every right to be. We are just being ignored. They won't offer us compensation, we'll be lucky if we get a meaningful apology from them (I won't hold my breath.) but let's not worry, they're probably already designing a new expansion pack to break the game some more.

Apart from the normal maintenance when was the last downtime? I don't remember not being able to get on the game for months now and I play daily.

I just canceled ESO plus (and quit playing) as a result of your ongoing "performance" with server stability. Not being able to fix this over months (!!) is really unbelievable.
Maybe many others will join, then your crap servers will work again someday

Listen. It's not like in Battlefield 4 where you have so many other servers and you can switch betwen them, but you have one named MEGASERVER. Understand that is not easy to find every error and repair that because you want play now. Give them some time.

Some time? Some time counting from 40-50 months ago? Because some of us never stopped complaining about perfomance decrease patch after patch. Except the day they mitigated a lot (but not enough) the single threading problem, EVERY notice from them claiming a performance increase, has resulted in worse performance and more and more bugs. Some of them are 40-50 months old.

Not that long ago, people lost game time, not that long ago people lost guilds and friends, not so long ago, people lost their guild history. Need me to continue? It happens constantly, people are either unable to play, or unable to use certain parts of the game.

Listen, i have played mmorpgs for years now and never experienced such a bad performance from a publisher as the last months in ESO. If you think, that ZOS is awesome and just need some more time, then you are free to give them.
But my patience is over now. Its not the problem of the game itself (the content is great - else i would have quitted months before), its the problem of the incompetent EU server team

You can still buy crowns and ESO+ on the website. What's the problem?

    Greetings all,

We are currently aware that players are having issues logging in on the EU server for PC/Mac. This is being looked into and an update will be provided in the morning. Unfortunately this means this server shall remain offline for the remainder of the evening. We also would like to let everyone know that we do have an official post stating this, found here.

As this is a thread about the issue with not being able to login to the EU server, it is considered a duplicate thread, therefore we have decided to close it to help avoid clutter.

    Thank you for your understanding,
