NERF SIEGE

Siege is way too effective in what it does. It should only apply the status effect on players. Not do any damage, its way to easy to sit in the back and kill an entire group of people just by firing it once. By buffing siege just incentives people to instead of actually engaging in combat with them sit 40+ meters away and aimless siege them to death.

When the best possible tactical move for half or more of the pvp population is not to play their toon but to drop siege, it's a problem.

But it's only a problem if you like pvp. If you hate pvp, it's great. ESO is a game for casual players who like hats. It makes perfect sense that they'd provide a way for poor players to have outsized influence on a match.

Then stop stacking and start spreading out. Sieges are slow firing, and even slower at aiming to a different location.

Also use siege bubbles, it got boosted last update.

Sounds like you don't understand how lobbing a freaking huge bucket of rocks with force at an army of people works.

I don’t mind siege particularly, but I’m in favor of limiting the usage of siege to within a predetermined radius of a keep. So silly to be fighting outnumbered between objectives only to have opponents pull siege out and start firing at you. Before when they didn’t leave behind ground dots it was not as annoying.

I guess the name of the game is to empower groups with more numbers, they’ve been on this track for so long now. Large versus medium, medium versus small, anything versus solo. Siege is just another Xv1 tool.

It should only be useful in attacking and defending keeps, outposts and temples. To deploy them in the middle of a field — I don’t care how magic they are it’s silly.

I 200% agree. the battles last so long that usually one alliance blue screens completely. people stack siege all over the breach and fields and towers. you literally cant escape it. nerf the damage and make people actually player vs player

Multiple breaches, spread out, stop stacking. It is supposed to be hard to take a keep and where is the PvP in making it too easy.

If camps were gone factions wouldn’t be as successful as they are simply throwing bodies at objectives. Smaller groups fight tooth and nail defending keeps from these unorganized zergs of players, find a way to come out on top only to find each opponent they just defeated running back into the keep while they have no ultimates and depleted resources.

Perhaps it kills ordinary people outright, but players are special, they are vestiges, heroes who made it through The Great Login Queue of 2019-2037 and killed Molag Bal. Some are even subscribers! Surely they should be able to take a dozen or two headshots from fire ballista.

If defending a keep, siege is necessary. If open field, and someone drops siege, they should die easily. Buffed siege only helps if enemy force is attacking a keep and doesn't use basic tactics. If this ends with the fall of zerg groups and less lag, all the better.

I have ran a ball group on eso for 3 years now, and the spreading out is the fastest way to die in Cyrodiil. And it’s just moving to a spot where the siege is not something you can do. My group literally gets 20/20 sieged open field and in towers. Literally there is no place to stand because there is so much siege.

It’s a video game we are playing cartoon characters. And being able to one shot an entire extremely organized group is a problem. And there has been countless time we’re there is absolutely no indicator besides seeing 25k+ siege on death recap.
