EP Locks their pop. But no Q.
Ad has two bars, so EP can still have people join.
AD pop locks. But Still no Q for ep.
DC has 2 bars. Ep can still join without q.
EP fills DC pop till it locks.
After EP has fill the entire Pop for all three factions......
Then there is a q for everyone.
Zos is so hush hush about this it makes me sick
Ty! Ya I just got back a few months ago and wanted to see if I could get a Zerg guild started! Glad to see EP still had need of one! 😃 @pcar944

@ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom It would be really nice to have one of the ZOS folks try to play on a night that AotP is running with 3+ raids. If you/they could feel how badly the servers seem to be pooping themselves at such times, maybe we could get an official response that it might be addressed sometime soon?

We had four groups going but did not break our record. Somebody was running another PUG group and pulling LFGs from zone chat. We will try to break the record on Tuesday or Wednesday this week when other EP guilds aren't online.

Lol an official response in PvP forums. Idk if it’s directed to be silent here or every time they comment it’s a onslaught of criticism. We as a community need to come together to fix this AOTP issues because we will never get any “official” help or guidance. We have both been around long enough to hope but not hold our breath.

So what are people to do on their own? All I can think of is shame them to death but these people have no shame. Its almost move to another campaign or game.

Are you actually proud of this? Last night was almost unplayable for most groups. You might be ok with this 6 sec delay but most are not. Your behavior is killing an already dying community quicker ever time you hit the server.

I'm just playing the game how I want to play it. I have built my character specifically for large battles and have no interest in smaller fights. I don't experience any delays so maybe the issue is on your end.

I say we gate EP while AOTP are logged on. We do the same thing on guilds that stack multiple raids in their coms no matter what faction they are on. This excludes natural faction stacks at key points of the map. If 2 factions take a stand vs this garbage it shouldn’t be long till this tactic is no fun. EP should help with this too. Thoughts?

I like the idea and it would take both AD and DC to split the gates but I am not sure there are 86 DC PvPing in Vivec most nights, and if there are; trying to get them to cooperate is a fools errand that few try and wind up seemingly losing their minds. About the best you could do would be if you could get a certain streamer to agree.

Ok ok! I'll give you guys the true secret to beating us long term... Ready?
...
Form your own EP guild that is welcoming and helpful to new and casual members, and pick them up from zone in your own raid before I can invite them to my Zerg. And if you really want to stick it to me, make sure you are not being a massive *** to these members and make sure they are having fun too! Then they will have no reason to run in my Zerg!
Boom! There is the secret, can't wait to see all these new Zone guilds popping up! ❤️

@_Crow I saw on discord that you were looking to break your record of 86 players in raid. If you're curious, the largest zerg I ever commanded was (if I recall correctly) in 2014, where there were six full raids + pugs following. It was the first time Lolimage was crowned emperor. I had 198 people in my TeamSpeak (though I'm not sure how many of those were actually playing).
If anyone wants the exact date, we can ask Lolimage to check his Emperor achievement date.
Back then the server didn't poop itself when more than 50 players were in one area, so good luck if you try to do something like that these days!
Best part is, we are getting so big that here in a month we will probably have to start a second guild just to fit everyone! ❤️

@_Crow I (believe that I) understand what you're doing, and your motivation. I even agree with you in principle. You're giving a good experience to players who haven't built a network or joined a guild that runs more min/maxed regular groups. There is value in that, and it's something I've done in the past too.
What I don't agree with is the willingness to ruin the fun of people who are not in your group. The way the game works these days, if you're rendered in already then you have a step up on everyone else who is coming to a fight (or at a location that you're moving to). When you have 75+ players moving together, you've already all rendered for each other, and while you probably also feel the lag while fighting, at least you can get to the fights.
Your opponents, with whom you *could* have good fights with tend to have 1/4 to 1/3 of their raids disconnect or desync when they get close to you. During moving fights, at least another few opponents get stuck on render lines and run in place not able to do anything for 2 minutes (or until they die - which is the usual outcome). This ends up with people quitting as it's not fun to play in lag, or moving to other campaigns (which is what my group tends to do) where we can get less laggy fighting.
Something you might want to consider - fights where your probability of winning is 50% are the fights where you're going to learn the most. If you're interested in working out a strategy to keep your groups balanced enabling them to separate I would be more than happy to help. It would involved a roster sheet with roles and responsibilities, and while you could invite from zone for half of each group of 24, the other half would need to be more selective (need X healers, X support roles, X AoE damage filled) to ensure that each group has a chance at success. This way you could have each of your leaders ( @Ahtu and others?) take a group to different places, and if you're not able to win with one, another could come to support. The combining of groups would be to deal with situations where your win % drops well below 50%, and not to ensure wins by lagging everyone else out. Getting that full insane zerg can be fun once in a while, but it should be the exception and not the norm.
TEACH these players how to play, not how to win by lagging everyone else out. When they're not in a 75+ zerg, they're going to be completely ineffective, and that's not what you should want for them if you indeed are keeping their best interest in mind. I would even be happy to hop on my EP toon (not Tuesday or Thursday when I'm with Omni on AD) and help teach once in a while.. If your leaders need to improve their strategy on how to fight in a group of 24 against 50+, I'd be happy to help with that too. We all want GOOD fights. Get your groups of 24 to the point that they're winning 50% of the time on similar footing to their opponents!
