Hang up in the rafters. drop oil. Put on my sload's, skoria, and mechanical acuity zerg buster gear. fetcherfly infection (activating it once with sloads/skoria usually leads to 60K damage on a dummy and it will spread if they're bunched and don't notice the weak dot on em that is just an itch until it bleeds oblivion on them and drops a meteor on their head), caltrops, and acid spray (best skill by far for dot procs and ignores the z access) on them below as they enter the inner keep.
When they finally make a move on me, I lock them down with gripping shards and acid spray + immobilizing poison. if they pressure me, I'll go werewolf hit them with my claw and focus on whoever took the most dot damage, then burst him down, take an invisi plus immovable pot, and sneak off a ledge, dead guy's buddies will pursue upstairs leaving the least confident zerglings out like sheep on the flags. when i see someone compromised, i pounce, fear, light attack them down. Back to the rafters, always focusing on the weakest or the biggest healing threat. CC, get out, kite, pounce, lead them to NPCs, and do whatever I can to buy time for my side to get there with reinforcements or for me to wipe them. With how much guards were buffed, you have a good chance of killing many in counter sieges so long as you are smart about it and more akin to the Predator than the army of one.
ignore the guy that you can't hurt and who can't hurt you he dies much later if you manage to kill his squishier allies. when the damage dealers over pursue that is when you get them. if they block a lot, use a long channel. if they dodge roll spin to win or other aoe. keep the healers harassed on the move, bash, and Benny Hill the stam builds: have them chase their tales and uppercut the air.
The best chance you will ever have of wiping 24 players is when defending a keep.
I've done it before. Was by myself for the first 10, and throughout the fight another 4-5 allies arrived to join in the cull.
Sigh, put my head in my hands, and then stare forlornly at my screen as I watch 60fps drop to 40, then 20 and my latency bounce around. This is followed by a short period of trying to mobilize people and help hit the outter edges of the enemy/search for FCs, until I realize no one actually knows how to defend a keep or is going to put up siege, fight or throw down a friendly FC, and then I watch, dejected, as the entire AD faction swarms through the gates and my FPS drops lower. I get CC’d by ten people at the same time and die. The FC I put up has been burnt and no one is gonna spend 20k AP for another. Then I say “*** this” over discord, my team agrees, and we log off and wonder when this game went so far downhill. But we know in our hearts there was never any one point, it’s just been a long string of terrible choices that continues indefinitely and it’s not getting better.
2. Before its lit up - go outside, distract, pull some away, be a pain etc..
3. Drop down behind em as they go inside the inner, hoping to pick off some stragglers - then when enough notice you, run for the towers/walls for a bit of ring-around-the-roses - hoping to distract enough of them that it slows the cap long enough for more friendlies to show..
Usually doesn't work - but every now and then......
Minalan owes me a beer.

The answers other ... And j can't exain cos each defence is different ... How many seige they have, how far into the keep are they, what time do we have to set up own defences ...
To explain would mean explaining 100 different scenarios.
All I can say is ... Good communication from players to understand the situation and then having good leadership to formulate a plan based on that information and having competent players able to execute that plan is what is important
I think it depends on the full group you are facing. There are two tactics I like. The first involves letting them take the front door down with little resistance. And then when the door goes down, hit the breach with catapults and AOE's and destro ults. and just keep laying that down. Send a group out the postern and take them out from behind as the are attempting to get through the breach.
And the other tactic is to send 2 or 3 tanks out the front door and then sweep them from the side.
But again, the group you are facing is going to determine the tactic. Some group crumble just from running straight into them from the front.
is the 24 person raid randoms or a zergball group?
if its randoms you can defend it
If its a zergball group you cannot defend it without an equal Zergball group or twice their number (even then they'll probably still take it)
You have to understand, ZOS holds the hand of Zergball groups extremely hard....Anything that remotely might cause them to lose is quickly nerfed or changed..
It depends on how many we have to defend with. If 5 min in and there's less than 10 in the keep I either spam obsidian shard at as many attackers as I can or ferocious leap into the middle of them for lulz
"It is a lovely language, but it takes a very long time saying anything in it, because we do not say anything in it, unless it is worth taking a long time to say, and to listen to." - Treebeard
I will charge the zerg and got to straggler first.
Usually i take down 2-3 player before I die a glorious death since they pissed i killed some of their group.

I look at what seasoned PvPers of years gone by did when faced with the same predicament.
Then I settle for the decision made by the smartest of them all:
I say f___ it and put up a poll in the forums.
What if I go north? Disappear.
Would you come after me?
