I challenge you to find one player from this region whose ping is not around 100ms higher than it was 3 - 4 weeks ago. Many of us have simply stopped playing while we wait for whatever changes occurred to be reverted.

    @ZOS_BillE I highly recommend you guys do something about this, because it is reflecting very poorly on not only your company, but your game. Get in contact with Akamai. Figure out what is going on, and work towards a solution. You will lose customers over this if you guys continue to neglect this issue.

    My ISP has opened a fault with both Telstra and Akamai which are the two issue makers in Oz. As they said, it's a long shot and probably going to be ignored because they're not the customers, but it's worth a shot since Zennimax don't give a rats....

    No one in these threads is being unrealistic, we're not asking for unrealistic latency improvements, we just want the game to return to the playable level like it was only a matter of a few weeks ago.....

    Thank you for the follow up reply. Based on the information you have provided, I would recommend reaching out to your ISP for any additional assistance they could provide as we have exhausted all known troubleshooting at this time.

    The problem is at Akamai and neither my ISP nor I can do anything about that, only customer's of Akamai.

    We've tried and failed.

    After noticing my latency going up I got mudfish. After murkmire patch my latency with mudfish is back to where it was before I decided I need mudfish.... It's hard enough to pvp from Australia but when you are at 350 ping with a VPN when it's low pops it makes it impossible to play

    How bloody hard is it to troubleshoot? Route the Oceanic traffic across the pacific instead of through Asia & keep the traffic inside the US inside the US without sending it to the Netherlands and back, problem solved.....

    I share your pain.....

    My issue has been going on for about 8 days now. I'm still getting routed through Hong Kong and my ping spikes from 550-15k depending on the PvP battles going on at the time.

    This is crazy and ZoS should put more resources towards figuring out what they've done wrong.

    10 days and still no change in the High latency. Not the best thing to stream live. But what can one do. Ticket is currently with a specialized team, day 2 no response. Will this ever be sorted? No 8 fence wire maybe?

    Do you guys even care about AU/NZ player base or just trying to get rid of us. Calling for a refund of eso plus as we have presented you with screenshots, proof of whats happening and yet nothing i have had a ticket open for over a week and not a single reply besides an automated bot. If i can't play then why should i pay anyone else having similar issues spam for refunds if you have plus as this is unacceptable.

    Yep, just paused my eso +. I'll periodically check on things and resub once latency goes back to normal but for now I'm done.

    Is this a normal response time?
    Ive noticed the 999+ still occurs but less and my ping sits at 285-388 on NA it use to be 217.
    I can play EU and that sits on 350 which is normal for my location/connection (NZ)

    I'm in NZ. My average ping is usually stable at around 217. It is currently around 301, with regular spikes to around 500, 700 or 999+.
    My brother has had a similar increase (he lives in a different city).

    I'm assuming this is the same issue.

    Pretty much the same for the last 3 weeks. Other MMO's I play on NA servers don't have this issue. At least 220ms was playable before.

    What commands do I run so I can submit a ticket.

    I'm having the same issue from the Middle East, @DRTE. I've submitted two trouble tickets, but ZoS hasn't even replied back to me on a single one.

    My best guess is that ZoS doesn't care and they would rather just lose our money than troubleshoot with Akamai.

    Adding to it, I've also got an issue with my primary account not being able to log into the PTS, although my alt account can just fine. That ticket hasn't been responded to by ZoS in a couple of weeks either. For a game that I spend a lot of money on, this is some of the worst customer service I've ever seen.

    I've been struggling with this too, issues with
    po111.bs-a.sech-iad.netarch.akamai.com [209.200.144.194] and ae120.access-a.sech-iad.netarch.akamai.com [209.200.144.197], sent a support ticket (Ticket id 181029-003039), but support is giving me the runaround with endless form letters in reply instead of actually responding. Seriously horrible customer experience.

    I have stopped playing. Sub due in a week. Getting ready to cancel as it is impossible to do any end game content. Spoke to ISP, but no joy because my tracert shows akamai is the problem.

    @ZOS_BillE Haven't bothered with a ticket as last time all i got was a generic list of switch off add ons check cables and reach out to ISP

    ESO/ZOS insists on acting like there is an ongoing DDOS attack for every player and sending stuff thru akamai's scrubbers is my understanding. Lazy cheap generic solution to a rare specific problem=really bad problem solving approach.

    Lots of tracerts here showing the mad routing.....
