As an occasional PVP player, I think I finally experienced this maddening Cyrodiil lag this weekend. Was standing WAY outside the AoE from the siege weapons during an attack on a keep. As in not even close to the outer perimeter of the AoE. Still got insta-killed by a coldfire trebuchet to the tune of 24K+ damage. Happened multiple times in different locations.

Is this the lag people complain about? If so, I can see why players lose their minds.

Just ported from BRK to Fare where a large battle was going on, got DC'd right away and on 4th login attempt. Got the ol please check your connection first 2 times, and the ol your account is already logged in message last time. Just got back in and back at gate.

Cyrodiil is trouble today. Game crashed while defending a keep. Try to get back in 3 times, only to be told no valid connection. Got back into Cyrodiil on the 4th attempt. 700 ping, game disconnects again. Now I'm looking at a infinite load screen, which means another disconnect coming.

PC eu vivec, endless lag, 2 dcs.
personally i would be ashamed as a dev to go out on an ESO live and say that performance is good. this is absolutely trash (inb4 they take down this post just for this comment )

okay today and also yesterday vivec has had the worst performance i have ever seen in this game.

I cant even use any skills most of the time and NO ITS NOT MY INTERNET'S FAULT. I can see other people standing still whenever my skills go off (when they should be) and suddenly they roll dodge and stand still again untill i kill them. Which means they also lag a lot. I dont know how some people still defend the server performance , they should be playing on shor after midnight or something...

Its also still rediculous that people dont even comment about it on the forums and whoever does recieves minor hate or absolutely no word from devs

I just posted a bug report (forum) but I am affraid noone from ZOS will react. It's gootten a lot worse after maintanance last week.

i mean people come to the forums mainly to express their opinions and their critisism. People that are happy with the game dont post here as often.
But HOW exactly is there any logic to this.

There are months and months now in a total of, for example the 3 front pages at the general discussion category(which is the main one), filled with complaints and negative content to an extend of 80%.

3% is some roreplayers that ask about your characters story and so on.

5% consists of people asking for help (hardware or for builds in which they are at the wrong category)

Another 10% is about new upcoming changes, content and dlcs.

And last but not least the remaining 2% goes to posts that actually try to cheer up Zos for doing a great job.
How is that possible that in that made up analogy, posts that are trying to comment a good job about the game gets most of the time answered by a Dev or a community manager. There are several posts like this one , or the speed combat bug, the always in combat bug or i dont know what other post got A LOT of attention by players, that ZOS wont EVEN recognize.

Its clearly our fault and mostly people that always seem to be thankfull towards ZOS that they just released a new dlc (murkmire) that brought a ton of bugs and broke everything with a huge wave of endless lag, only cause they got a new area to kill a hostile NPC.
companies like this should be shut down just by having no one playing their games. end of story

bro take a look at the forum. Pages are filled with complaints for months now. Nothing has ever changed. Just a bug report will not even be answered from a real person. U will only get help from them only for currency purchaces or for extra content, nothing more

i totally agree with u.There is this guy commenting on this post, that is determined to keep it alive. Whenever people have commented in my posts or simillar ones, the most common answer i see is that Zos will not make any change either way so it doesnt matter.
There are people that actually support ESO on the horrendus performance (i dont know what they think) and blame the player. But there are people that agree that performance is awfull, yet they just dont care and keep paying for ESO+ or whatever they throw at them. There is no salvation

I must say I didn't have that much problems till last maintanance. It's fustrating because I really like the game and was looking forward to the new DLC etcetera. But now I am thinking of stopping

Well yes, it wasnt that bad of course. But dcs where usual at big sieges. There were times that people rushed to a keep that was already being sieged and u could see lots of players stopped at a certain spot, forming a line only cause they dc'ed.
I stopped playing too, i only came back to see whats up cause they said they were going to improve performance with the next expansion. But i lost faith again. Just plain words and false promises

Coming home after a long day, logging in to Cyro, stuttering all over the place without any skills firing when I want them... the ESO experience.

It's kinda satisfying that things are still exactly the same where I left them. ZOS is providing me with a true zen experience.
