Quick question RE: MagSorc Non-Pet DD

Could you explain why you suggest double barring both Inner Light and Bound Aegis (especially since Aegis changed this patch).

If I'm not mistaken Aegis still gives the 8% maximum magicka bonus, and you don't want to lose maximum stats while you bar swap, since that chunk is lost each time you do it.

Ugh, I didn’t realize you still lost the 8% on bar swap...that’s disappointing.

Heya, noticed you said if we dont have the new trial set to just use a different set, then realised that Infallible Aether was not on that list. Is the set that bad now that it is outperformed by Julianos or Destro Mastery?

Dear Alcast,
An anecdote: Was watching your stream yesterday (and some this morning) and I got so tickled with you saying "RIP." Now my husband and I are using it in regular daily life (with your accent). Break a glass, we say "RIP." Celebrating the end of the school semester, we say "RIP" and on and on. Thank you for adding some hilarity to our days (in addition to all of your game knowledge).

Crit scales better in Raids with Horns and so on. But you could use that difference is very small.

Hey Kaxxi, chances are that stuff will always change. But Olorime will definitely stay. What I do recommend is only gold out Weapons. Gear and Jewelry can stay purple. Purple vs Gold Armor & Jewelry is basically 1% difference, so do not waste your mats on that

Hi,

Quick question about the recommended passives. Some of your builds I have used recommend that you spend points on the Fighters, Mage & Psijic Order Passives when there doesn't seem an obvious reason to and I was wondering why?

e.g. on the Beamplar build there are no Fighters guild skills used, so realistically, only Banish the Wicked is a useful combat passive, yet you recommend that all fighters guild passives are used.

Or is there a hidden passive that comes into play when all passives are used?

Ye you are right. I will optimize the passive section at some point when I have time. Some stuff that is in there is not needed.

Alcast,

I have to say well done on all the hard work you put into working out all these different builds, and generally making eso life easier for most of us.

Can I ask, is it easy enough to tailor your builds for those of us that don’t have the patience or confidence to farm group content such as trials! Does Summerset and jewellery crafting open up the possibilities for people like myself? Naturally I am yet to experience Summerset (PS4 is my gaming choice).

Anyhow regardless of whether I can benefit from all your hard work, I’d still like to say a big thank you.

If you're not tanking dlc hm's then you can make almost any combo work for all the other 4 man vet stuff.

Highelf 2h/resto sorc build
Charge in and electrocute everything in your path and walk out

2h is for the rush in
Resto for heals and shields
Electric abilities are for frying what around or infront of you.

No Sload in death recap ever, right?
