How can I become Emperor and help others become Emperor

One of the last achievements left that anyone I know still wants is Emperor. Is there a quicker way to get everyone Emperors? Can you get a few each night? Will there be enough AP gained taking resources and role play little wars? I don't even know exactly how Emperor is awarded really.

Mostly, Cyrodil kind of suc. But if I could get a plan to get everyone Emperor maybe we'd go there more often. Any thoughts ideas suggestions tips!

With this attitude, you don't deserve emp.

To put it in perspective for you, this is like a random asking for a carry through vMoL hard mode for him and all of his scrubby friends with 10k dps and standing in all the red.

Not even trolling. Trying to figure a way to have fun productive guild nights. I figured if we could get 3 or 4 people Emperor a night, people would like to go. How it is now though, Cyrodil is just a waste of time.

We crowned a friend on Haderus (PC/NA) on Tuesday (reset) early evening after AP farming for about 5 hours. Our best hour was about 160k AP, with worst hour being about 50k AP (not counting the breaks). When you're playing from reset (where everyone starts at zero), the most important consideration is who your competition is. The person who gets emp will be the one who doesn't stop and takes the least breaks, provided that you're using the most efficient strategy. If you hop into the Discord (linked in my sig below) I'll be happy to answer questions. Most discussions on the forums about AP farming degenerate into salty people flinging insults and accusations when they just don't understand the different between ganking and strategies for AP earnings.

The short short version: Don't stop playing, do whatever earns you the most AP rather than looking for the biggest / most fun fight, and best case, you'll get one emperor per day.

You could just role-play giving out the emperor. Think of it as a participation trophy.

Hmm. See it's different on console. The no CP server here is dead. Like super dead. That's probably where we'd go.

I got 1,000 AP from scout questing and it put me at 200ish place. Not sure what emp has to have, but I think we'd have the best chance here.

Many of my friends and I have different alliance toons, so switching keeps shouldn't be hard...

Most I usually play is a few hours per night. Always broken up.

Thanks @Crown for the link. I saw it wrote you can have a new emperor every 30 minutes. Is there a set time thing on that? And the having to release from campaign to get someone else Emperor....uhm is that the thing that costs like 100k AP? It may be a bit more difficult to do that.


I don't know what you expect of your emperor @NightbladeMechanics for us, it's an achievement and some cool costume and a title. All that stuff and $2.00 can buy you a cup of coffee.

I decided back during the Beta that I would never be Emperor. I am still fine with that decision.

I would like the Regicide Achievement though....

This goes against everything I believe in. Your dead campaign shouldn't be available, and you should have to l2p and compete with everyone else if you want pvp achievements. Should, should, should, idealism blah blah.

I'm honestly not sure if this is a troll post. You are going to have to actually PvP if you want emp. Just completing those kinds of quests will get you nowhere near. You need to get to the number 1 spot on your alliance, so just look to see what that is right now. Even on dead servers people usually push a few hundred thousand AP right when the campaign starts to get in position for emp. So 1,000 AP is essentially negligible. You would have to PVP for hours, and be decent at it, to get emp. It isn't something you can just randomly decide to come into Cyrodiil for a couple hours and get.

I have to look more into it. IDK? worst alternative we go to Cyrodil once a week for about an hour and leave.

I'm a pretty good player and have never had emp. I've 1vXd multiple "former emps" as well. Tell him the truth. To get emp, you need to be popular and have no life for a week. Oh, and slap on a destro staff. There is literally no respect in being emp right now.

OP you and I think alike. A friend of mine and I created a guild last week named "House of Emperors". Our goal is to help players get the achievement.

My vision was to have a few players run for Emp and then the guild logs into PvP and just slaughters everyone. If that don't work then wait til everyone goes to bed and then just front door all the keeps at once.

I honestly cannot tell either haha think I might be feeding the troll.

But OP, if you are not trolling, you need to understand the getting emp takes a lot of dedication and time. You would want to play for hours and hours straight once a campaign flips to get the AP. And then you would want to get together a big group of friends to flip the map. It is not a trivial task.

Well it honestly doesn't take much effort anyways, or at least have to. You can just zerg the emp down and just happen to be the one with the killing blow. I do know what you mean though.

It's really easy to get multiple people emp in an empty campaign just for the achievement. It won't mean much and you won't experience what it is like to be emperor though, not that that matters since you just want the achievement. It's unfortunate that zos has never managed to solve population balance across campaigns.

Getting emperor in the most populated campaign is literally impossible for the majority of ESO players though.
