Holy crap the egos in this thread make for a good read. Also did anyone take into consideration the console players who don't have any access to pts and also get the patch after pc when thinking about world firsts?

Consoles have no access to addons and more sluggish controls - it simply would never be a fair contest to begin with.
Don't see how we even, practically, could take it into consideration. Not sure what you are suggesting? :)

Its cool that they do this, as long as @Sypher , @Blobsky and @Alcast, @FENGRUSH is there, Im fairly sure they will get good feedback that covers most if not all of players concerns/issues.

I'm not invited, the others are

But Yolo and other Hodor(ians?) said, that Alcast isn't invited as well. I guess they just choose some NA players, because there is no single EU player confirmed.

Yeah but that makes his point moot; that everyone gets to go but him - so let's just conveniently not take that into consideration. ;)

What point? I am simply replying to my name being tagged in brute honesty. I am interested though - I have been told Alcaast was invited, no idea if that is true or not but the people who said this to me are going. Isn't Woeler EU? Either way I know of one other EU player going too, so EU is represented.

I am glad that some people in EU were invited, I hope these people come forth. :)

Alcast was not invited, don't know who told you that.

Weird, 3 of the people going told me he will also be there...

I guess he wants to keep it private for whatever reason, so any ZOS staff feel free to remove sentences where I talk about Alcast please!

I can confirm that two people from Hodor have indeed been invited and are going there. They just forgot to inform half the guild it seems, or the people who knew just didn't share the information. So much for creating a ruckus over nothing. I can only apologize for myself with the fact that I just finished exams and started a new semester so haven't kept up to date with guildies. :/

EDIT: Edited my previous posts in this thread to reflect this.

We were not allowed to tell anyone. So we did what we were supposed to do

We have a good mix of play styles, platform and region. (i.e. - Console & PC players, who PVE and/or PVP, from both NA and EU)

As Gina notes, we are leaving it up to the players who are coming to determine if they want to share that info.

    do you have any oceanic?

Guys....cant we just be happy for those invited? This is very awesome and I say bravo to ZOS for bringing in some actual players people know and trust, to help make the game better for everyone.

I agree, with the caveat that arguing the cause of a select style of player doesn't automatically make the game better for everyone. I hope we're talking balanced feedback here, casual as well as hardcore rather than just PvE as well as PvP.

With that caveat, I'm very happy for the players concerned and I applaud ZOS for the initiative not least as they've spread the invitations internationally.

Of course, it also goes without saying that I'd be even happier if the purpose was to test a new trading system  !

Does this mean Morrowind will not be on the pts?

One one hand I find it kinda nice when the content drops without knowing exactly what is coming. On the other hand... bugs.

    ...

PTS only happens very close to the end of the release cycle when it's hard to make big changes, I'm guessing ZOS want much earlier feedback on things like balance & builds.

INTERESTING to see non theorycrafters let alone "top theorycrafters" invited and not king richard who has been a pioneer in the eso community since beta, something is wrong with this development team and not getting this guy in there to test out pvp battlegrounds? This was a mistake and your game will fail it will. You know it and the well FeelsBadMan

Just because your favorite streamer wasn't invited doesn't mean battlegrounds or the game will fail...

@Asayre would you mind if I ask if you will be there?
You are the one with the deepest understanding of the calculations and balancing problems inside the community. If they didn't invite you I would be really surprised.

    This^^

@asayre should be the first one to get an invite, no one understands the game on the level he does.

Please pay as much attention to feedback threads as you do to those exceptional players.

Your track record of reported bugs, cheats and exploits making it live is just egregious.

I'm glad you escaped harsh weather, but when I saw you posting here, Gina, I was hoping you'd be spying on them, telling us what they're doing, what's it's all about, sending us pictures of them yawning or a recording of @FENGRUSH talking to Rich the way he talks in his videos and Rich telling him "You know you don't have to be here, right ? " :D

I would like to echo some of the other posts with the hope that @asayre did get an invite. His contributions would be invaluable.

It would also be good to know which console players are going. We have so many more limitations than than PC users it would be nice to get some representation.

All in all though really glad to hear ZOS is actively getting feedback from the community. Well done and appreciated.
