Almost Every PVP Death Recap Shows Eye of Flame or Storm

Almost every PVP death recap shows 20k damage taken from these Ultimate, Magicka NB are just waiting to get ultimate, apply all buff, use gap closer and fire ulitmate.

Here comes soo many AP..

Even my DK in heavy Armor could not bear this!

PVP was much better before Proc Sets (Viper/Tremor) and these Ultimates..

Just wait until the big balance patch coming soon arrives. Gina specifically said the EotS was indeed to powerful and will be getting a change.

I personally have left pvp to grind materials in hopes that this coming patch will be amazing. Here's hoping it will be.

Take away the ability to gapclose/port with it and nobody will cry anymore (also implement a root/snare immunity).

Are you surprised? Comet gets blocked moved out of cost 200 ult and feels like a waist of an ult when it tickles ur enemy. I'm not saying EoTS is balance it does cost a lot I hope they lower the ult cost to 200 and reduce damage slightly. If they nerf this ult to much it will have no purpose at all and never get used making destro staff still crap in pvp and making magic classes bottom feeders again to there Stam over lords that we should never win against in anyway.

I tried running Stamina Sorcerer Imperial with Viper + Tremor + Black Rose and found it beyond balace but still Magicka DK/NB firing Eye of Storm killing me. It's because you can not block it and its radius is high to dodge (after snare you r simply done)

So which is it? Is stam OP because of proc sets or is magic OP because of the Destro Ultimate? Maybe, try not standing in it...

Heres the thing, Comet is devastating when it connects yes? However it is pretty easy to counter yes? So in my opinion the ability is pretty balanced.

Well.. in regards to EotS, i can be within the radius of effect for a mere couple seconds and be wrecked. The counter is to move out of the radius but since the DPS is so high with EotS its not really an option. If EotS were reverted to its old damage model (the pts damage model)... the ultimate would still be a huge threat if you stay within the radius for its duration but now you can survive by moving out of the radius (given you have more opportunity to since the damage is not face roll amounts.). EotS will still be a monster with the pts damage model and in my opinion perfectly balanced.

Infact after snared what can you do?

This Ultimate is monster! Infact i am going to use it a lot, was just raising my Stam Sorcerer Assault Level and found EOTS very effective!

I have learned from experience that a modicum of snuff can be most efficacious...

Anyone ever try Nova, Negate magic, ward/shield/self-heal spamming, buffing resistances or streaking/gap closing to another target outside of the radius?

Almost every ability has a counter, so i wonder if this one has just gone unnoticed?

Ever hear of poison resist? It's a thing.

If you're in a hallway it's devastating. If you die to it in a field it's your fault. Equipping mist form or rapids are other alternate ways of getting out of dodge past dodge rolling.

Tips ...

- Don't run into a keep the second the wall comes down. Waiting 10 seconds will keep you alive. If you fail to do this ... your fault.
- If there are 15 people in the Allessia Bridge hallway and you run into it assuming no one has a destro ultimate, it's ... your fault.
- If you see a group of 25 people all retreating into a ball ... and you're assuming that none of them have it equipped ...your fault.
- If you are a hurricane spamming stam sorcerer who dies to this ... it's your fault for being a hurricane spamming stam sorcerer.

Procs like tremorscale that cannot be avoided are a problem. A massive ultimate that costs a ton which casts a 3 story high 20 foot wide cloud that yells GET AWAY FROM ME is not. If it is appearing "every time" in your death recap you need to reevaluate your play style because chances are 80% of those deaths were ... you guessed it ... your fault.

sad but true...those destro ults are a handful - like carrying around a hip fire cold-fire ballista...

get a good group together with 3 or 4 players equipping it - yikes...

you really have to watch the momentum flow...as soon as you see a small overly aggressive group heading your way - dodge roll your butt the heck out of their way...

it's funny when the sorcerers use it - pretty much as soon as the effect ends, they die...personally, when i use it - I shield up and then hit streak as soon as the effect ends...

the real problem is when DK's have it slotted and start snaring/rooting you like crazy; or, NB's are using it from stealth - good luck not getting killed when you never saw it activate...

Yes, the "Eye of..." is annoying, since its almost "I win" when used against melee fighters. So... it'll get nerfed again some update in the not too distant future. Like many skills have been adjusted when they found them to have unexpected over effectiveness in cyrodil.

And its not the one that always does me in, that would be velidreth methinks. Still saw some wrecking blow spams as well. And of course the "death in one second through five skills from one person that are somehow macro-ed together"

Just... stop worrying and learn how to love the (inevitable) gank!

I rarely get hit by the Destro Ult, however what REALLY is in literally every single recap is Viper's Sting. Everyone complains about it yet everyone runs it. I can't wait till ZOS hopefully destroys it in the coming nerf.

I thought mist forms cancels it out? I've been intentionally NOT going into mist form thinking I'm wasting my Ultimate.

My favorite is when I get jumped by a group and I see two viper procs from the same person in a fight that lasted maybe two seconds.

A stam proc meta for months yet a single mag skill is causing so much uproar.

Clearly a L2P issue for the proc babies who don't want any competition to their meta.
