5 Trainee plus 5"whatever you want " plus 1 shawdowrend and 1 Chokethorn is great imo. With witches brew you have stam like your running tri-stat food and still be at 2k recov with all dmg glyphs on accessories.

Don't choose between Breton and high elf, make both.

I have Breton, high elf, and redguard templars. My main is the Breton. I've never seen a definitive answer about cost reduction vs. magic recovery.

I'm no @Asayre but I'm guessing there's a certain base magic recovery threshold where an additional 10% magic recovery would be more beneficial than 3% cost reduction. I'm also guessing that a person would have to take into account the amount of magic that player uses per unit of time, on average, while in combat.

Comes down to the player I guess, feel raw recovery can be more beneficial in terms of sustain, it's really hard to say which one sustains better though it's not noticeable to me unless I'm in heavy. High elf seems to sustain a bit better maybe because you don't have the extra reduce cost you get from light armor but even then it's minor.

best magplar solo build right now, some folks will say lich is better than spinners in this setup, but lich is overkill for sustain, as long as you place your rune right you won't have any issues.

@akinos also has an AMAZING templar build, I struggled with it solo, but I'm not the caliber of player that he is. In a small group, I was able to do ridiculous things, things that didn't seem possible. His build is linked in his sig posted above me.

BSW is under rated for templars, its just so stupid hard to farm, I still don't have all my jewels so I have to run janky setups with it

Hey thanks for mentioning me @Lexxypwns . I'm fairly certain this is a troll thread, guy is saying he has no sustain and damage with those stats. If it's not a troll thread then I apologize.

Also, I came up with a better version of the build in my sig, not sure If i'm gonna make a guide or video about it now though. ><

Not fair lol. Jk, but damn...
