To clarify if anyone’s struggling (or is on console like myself), it’s the toon past the study. Take a left down the hallway with the blood knight. It’s the crumbled hole in the wall next to the ruinach cell.

It’s not completely up to date, though. Challenge of the Paramount is on that list, but it has a collection. It just hasn’t been found in game yet, to the best of my knowledge.

The very first post of this thread used to show where were all the Bookshelves in Imperial City. Now I can't actually see a pictorial representation, only a list of .png files that, when clicked, appear to do nothing. What happened to the actual pictures?

@ZOS_Kevin May I ask if you are able check and see if these seven books (Closed by order of the abbot, Communications from Nilphas and Thoryn, Survey of the Alavelis mine, Challenge from the paramount, Iiasaba's Excuses, Onri Murien's hidden wishes, Zeirinia's silent admission) are bugged at all?

I see the Letter, but spent over 20min to find a Spot to grab. No Chance.

I didn't have any issues grabbing it, so there definitely is. I can suggest trying to log out and back in, maybe it's the same issue as with essentially all books in Cyrodiil where they fall thru.

I tried this many many Times. Reloadui, relog. Game complete close and restart. Nothing helps. I cant read this Book.

But i see this. Looks not bugged or so.

For what it's worth, there are 6273 books (including motif pages) in the game, whereas there are only 5632 entries in the Shalidor's library, Eidetic memory and motif pages combined, for the difference of 641. That page only has 138, some of which, like aforementioned Challenge of the Paramount, have Eidetic Memory entries.

Ok, I found what the difference is. And it is weird.

I have compared two accounts, my main does have 6031 books, the secondary one has 6027. And comparing the details shows that the secondary only has 99 entries for Telvanni Tomes, not 103, missing the following:

House Telvanni Song
Song of Fate
The Spotted Towers
The Waiting Door

@MreeBiPolar still weird they’re different, and I wonder why those four are missing. I’m seeing that Spotted Tower book coming up a lot here as bugged or missing.

Unrelated for those looking for it- Torvesard’s journal during the quest is found in the Chronicle of Fate part of tbt main quest after you cross the ‘missing’ bridge looking for the abnormal thread of fate. There is currently no location in the UESP wiki. I also don’t know if it will be there post quest.

The Spotted Towers is bugged in that when you target it, it shows a wrong name (TP Towers Song), but it has been found.

I also have the other three tagged on my main, too, which makes it even weirder.

I have played 100,s of games over the last 7 days to complete the achievement for collecting and using the heavy cards and scraps. Not once did I have any of the above clues drop. Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to make a fresh toon and start the ToT quest from new?

I did look through previous pages. They do not address Planar Exploration Vol. 14: Darkreave Curators, Tainted Egg Mine Report, On Joining the Keepers of the Dead.

For the ones they do address, thank you, I've been able to update UESP and the LoreBooks add-on with that info.
