Back in 1.3, I really appreciated the week long respec cost reduction to 1 gold/skill. It's going to be bit less then 90days once it goes live. So even at 90 days we are looking at around 100K per month on respecs for people with 8 vr16s. That's still not an acceptable number imo. Most of your players don't even have that much banked.
I'm also going to have to do a bit of regearing that will cost me even more then my respect amount but i really don't want to get into that as its a totally different topic.

For example I dont see why you would need to redo champ points and attributes with any changes to DB. They arent changing any champion point "perks" or whatever you call them. So I think just because you choose to do something doesnt mean you HAVE to do something.

Im not ignoring anyone Im stating facts. I said everytime they have done respecs it has been forced. I never said anything about shrines. If they want to make shrines cheap for a week who cares. Its doesnt affect me. Let em do it. I never understood why a respec cost anything anyways. What I dont want is to redo characters not affected by any changes.
So therefore like I said to the guy I was speaking to (not you) it is not "always" optional. If they give a "free" respec that means Ill have to accept it whether I like it or not. My idea was just mail every character a non sellable bound to that character respec scroll. Use it or delete it.1 -

It was Imperial City, I think, rather than the last DLC, but the general point was that it happened at some point. All of your spent skill and attribute points were forcibly reset. It first happened in Update 4 or 5 (?), which was the first time there was a major change to skills. It happened again with Update 6, when the whole skill system was overhauled. They never said they wouldn't offer an alternative if there was another big change to skills, though. Morridune✭✭Yesyeh I think if their going to make major changes to how the game works in regards to skill mechanics then its fair to ask for 1 but i'd also like to see it been optional as even though stam seems to be gettin lotta love this time round it looks to be more bringing mag/stam build in line with each other ( ik ppl will argue against this but that because its a forum :P ) so many will prolly wanna keep rolling with how their currently set up and forcing those to reset up their toons to how they already are set up is a bit tedious

Respec all skills when I just need to move some points from one skill to another is ridiculous and huge waste of money and time.
