I really think overload needs a nerf. Big time.

    You can choose not to use it, but it is a very powerful ability. I dropped resto staff and went destro/sword and board and use this against other sorcs all the time.

    You know defensive stance is used all the time by players to reflect all sorts? Including meteor and that another ultimate, so there is 2 ultimates is can counter,

    It's also useful when you see a sorc throw a frag at you or someone about to hit you with snipe, you it and then go immediately on the attack as there own hits them,

    When I'm on my DK I really love reflecting a meteor and as its landing dragon leap at the victim Erm I mean target :wink:

    People still getting so mad at overload users while they spam their ambush and wrecking blow. So many elitist trying to tell people its broken and not to use it.

    I couldn't see anything in patch notes. So I guess stealth nerf ?

    Sadly, that doesn't work anymore (used to run Spectre's Eye, Ash Cloud, Shuffle and Sparks).

    Or are you talking about minor and major?

    I agree with the OP, nerf overload. I'm tired of one shotting myself when a DK uses reflective scales on me!

    Sorry OP, Overload is just fine as it is. If they erf overload they have to nerf: [Insert Ultimate ability here]

    Literally every templar main would give up at least 1 of the templar ultimates for access to a third bar only.

    Btw anyone who slots overload and doesnt use that kind of damage and mana return to their advantage is not a good sorc...

    Really easy to deal with in any kind of small scale combat, stupidly OP in the current 'let's hide in zerg and spam these 10k attacks' meta. Just like Snipe.

    To be fair i do think the cost needs increasing, 15 ult for a 13k hit in pvp. Some ult that cost 100 don't do that much dmg or give access to a 3rd ability bar and good mana return.

    Double or triple the cost per cast. If people are going to spam 13k LA then make so they can't spam 14 13000+ dmg LA for the cost of a meteor.

    I have every character level 50, both a magicka and stamina version.

    actually they should change overload to work like soul harvest and rework the sorc base abilities to make them viable in pve.

    And also the people who keep talking about how it's easy to dodge, keep in mind that while in pvp in this game the majority of the time the animations and beams are broken and you won't see the overloads coming.

    Normal dps rotation + ult (if cost increases) will still make them do slightly more than most other classes.

    Because Ult generate quite quickly, if they want to spam 5x 13K attack then they'll have to save for it, not just save 100 ult.

    Other classes have ult's costing 250+ that do way less dmg and are less useful.
