PVP in a nutshell minus opinions

i am new, so there are things i dont know. i understand. but to you're above point, i am addressing the people on this post as well. And whether you believe it or not, simply switching you're play style, by default does increase you're chances of doing well. I cant sit here and set up equations and factor in other peoples skills. like you said, running in large numbers increases you're chances. I really just advise people do that. But yes ive fended off mobs of 20+ with 12 or so people before. Skill is always a blind factor. You cant measure it in an instant. But you can quickly dtermine a 10 men group has a super low chance to take 25+

Since you seem to have a good idea of later times in the game. Does the pvp balance get better or worse closer to 50 ?

I think you need to hit VR 14 and experience PvP for a while before you make the comments you've made. No offense but this is like a new guy on his first day trying to tell the Senior members how to do their jobs without any of the experience or knowledge.

PvP is a VERY different ball game in Veteran PvP. It has a good amount of aspects that are unbalanced. Non Vet PvP is far more balanced and doesn't have nearly as many issues as Veteran does.

i cant argue with you seeing as i havent been there. noted. But do you think console pvp will remain ? do you think it will die off or that it will live long enough for me to play my shooters coming out XD ? i really enjoy the pvp in this game.

I don't play on console but from what I've seen it seems like it's been doing really well so unless something unexpected happens it will do well.

Try solo healing a group of 5 instead, even if you apparently consider those type of players "idiots". It's educational, learning to stay alive without crazy cross-healing and hiding behind numbers.

But I do agree with you, this is what it takes in PvP right now, unless you like frustration. Small groups cant do much besides gank and ambush stragglers (or run like mad).

Full 24-man raids "farming AP" killing 4 solo'ers around a resources tower over and over, this is a new and baffling trend I've noticed. You also need 40-60 players to take a keep now as it turns out. Otherwise you cant lag out enemy ballista. Also more Meteors for 50k fall dmg and getting the enemy rubber-banding and stuck inside walls. PvP is great and we're all idiots for not thinking it's "a blast"!

To show you how unbalanced vet pvp is, I know many people who pvp in non vet campaigns that will re-roll as soon as their toon hits vet level.

i was just giving an example to incread you're odds in doing well. Relax XD. healers are great =D and ive healed 5 man groups as well. its alot harder so i prefer not to at all costs. Zergs win campaigns. Accept that and get one and youll have more fun =D

It's very obvious that you're in non-vet...I didn't even read through your comments to find out. The majority of people I know that gank can get off about 20-30k damage in 1 second.

And the majority of the console players arent playing at a vet level yet so my post is safe enough to give input at this stage of the console game. But you're vet experience will be relavent soon enough. Any information is welcomed man.

Yeah as I'm trying to outrun those beams . That one was actually just 2 guys doing the usual stand behind everyone at a safe distance and snipe kills with RD. The 5585 hit was just one guy , the others were all the same guy.

I have tons of re cap screens that I save mainly to evaluate the insta-kill exploits which are primarily the physical attacks , some of those were just a few I pulled out to reference moderate to high damage. I've been hit a lot harder however.

Here we have a good example of the huge amount of damage DK skills currently do compared to others and why whip needs a nerf but skills like Shooting Star are fine the way they are and a lot of fun to use from a safe distance.

Think the conclusion is that the OP is new to the game, not having experienced vet-pvp. I for one think something must be done about the macroing... thats my biggest biggie. Its getting so popular that today, while I was doing legerdemain stuff, I noticed a player of the opposing faction had picked up a scroll (addon info), then I read the characters name. It included the word macro in it. Its definetely a sign ESO is appealing to that sort of crowd and they dont seem concerned of any repercursions...

A few weeks ago people here were telling me it couldnt be done... i purposely went out, bought a controller, installed the program thingie and tried it out. Lets say i never saw senche go down so fast. Why? My controller is made of pure gold! Pure gold controllers/mice should be banned... (or scrap animation canceling, that would work too)

please tell me you play on PC I can show you imbalance, Soloing taking resources and outposts easy, thats enough to say its not balanced lets forget about 1v1 or lone wolves .

you will see people sometimes have really high DPS 1 shot ganking, others you will see tanking and not dying when 1v20ing and they arent even emp those things alone arent balance.

(Managing resources, shield stacking and rolling do take some skill but overall its not that balanced)

top player on leaderboard, doesnt mean top player in genereal...

Nothing skillful about farming AP, unless you see the same dude on stop of leaderboard all the time, @Crown comes to mind in that case.

another major point you fail to realize is no MMO is balanced... When people say they want balance they know they will never get it xD they just want unbalance to a point where its bearable.

People i play on the console and its been said that they changed alot of the damage scaling. So with that said, if you giving me experiences based off the PC you can just stop there. Also, i have not gotten to vet yet. So i AM giving experience pre vet. And the experience is fine as long as you play how the game was engineered to be played.

Someone screenshot me xbox one or playstation recaps. And i suppose ill go with that. Every screenshot is pc currently. I dont care about the pc version, they gave up on you once they started on the console versions. Sorry to say. i mean im not saying vet isnt completely different on the console but they said they tweaked the scaling quite a bit for pvp from pv to console release. So im making a bit more sense then you pc kids would like to admit. I play pc also. just no ESO.

its the same game PC and xbox... Those screens shots can happen on console too.

They really need some kind of PC, Console, NA, EU identifiers on this forum. It seems that experiences are different all across the board. There are many experienced PC players that do fine soloing or in small group, and MANY big groups that get wiped repeatedly. It's really all about the coordination.

Also, if you're not at v14 yet and have not amassed enough CP you just cannot see the power of some of the builds out there.

Now please excuse me as I roll-dodge to the gates of Oblivion.

Yeah it seems like this game changes drastically when you hit vet levels. Ill be back. But for now this game is very fun for me (level 30)

Lol, your Temp was one of the challenging monsters that killed me with RD before but your not in any of these screens.

I use food and have GDB , still not enough healing power for that ungodly beam tho.

I really like the in game tips that recommend using CC when faced with multiple attackers.

I think this thread needs to be re-labeled as console specific. This thread clearly shows we need separate forums for PC/Mac and console posts. I actually laughed out loud when I read the OP was a level 30 console player.
