    I never find the drops so I have no idea how it works.

    Ive only seen the nircrux drop once so I know they drop just not often enough for me to care about the stuff.

    I think he's talking about the spell resist stacking you can do with Nirnhoned armor in PVP.

    If so, ZOS has already said it should be in the next major patch.

    Nirn gear break all the magika build.

    Basicly your crystal frag that would hit for 15 k on a normal target , a guy qith full nirn gear will get hit for about 2k.


    So basicly , stamina build was already superiorior due to dodge rolling and animation cancelling. Add into that nirn gear , any NB running that with alot of stam regen is basicly GODMOD agaisnt any magika builded players.

    The magika doesn not even stand a chance. not a single little one agaisnt a full nirn gear guy.

    And there is no equivalent gear for armor(physical resistance)

    I'd suggest instead of spell resistance, maybe a 1-2% damage resist sounds more fair.

    I can confirm this. Just for giggles i was running a build similar to PixySticks (4 Martial 4 Healer 4 Magnus) with over 2200 Spell damage, 32k+ Magicka the other night, and that was prior to Major Sorcery buffs, and a guy in full nirn will be lucky to take 2k damage from a proc Crystal Frag with the 20% Frag Bonus + The 20 % Empowerment from Might of the Guild + 20% Major Sorcery. This is also running Divines Armor pieces, Sharpened/Nirn Weapons, Apprentice Mundas Stone, and points in Spell Erosion, Thamaturge, and Elemental Expert.

    I am forced to Bolt Escape and run away from these people because i can't do any damage, yet they can hit me for full damage with any of their stamina attacks...my 13K Hardened Ward is good for about 1 and half of another hit. in other words enough for me to get up from Wrecking Blow and run.

    Now i know EXACTLY why Pixysticks quit..this is just nonsense, and anyone defending this is probably using it. Give me a trait that halves or more all physical damage that costs me no resources (Shields cost magic and i can't attack while casting them, Nirn costs no resources, is passive, and you can attack while wearing it) Even Dodge rollers do no damage and spend stamina to dodge, Nirn just renders magic useless by passively wearing it.

    My CLS don't lie, Either Nirn has rendered magic useless, or a LOT of people are cheating because when my "Pixy Frags" crits only do 2.5k damage to a non-blocking target, either they are in full nirn, or a lot of people have found a bug to take virtually no damage....i know because that same Frag will crit a Mammoth for over 22k sometimes more.....

    if this isn't fixed, and soon, i guess i'll be joining Pixy in the retired Pvp'ers.....because frankly this is getting a little ridiclious, and this is coming from someone who loves this game. :(

    Sure nirn is pretty op when someone is wearing full nirn but they are forced to wear crafted all crafted sets. I think they should just limit how much nirn you are allowed to wear. I think stamina nightblades are the only class allowed to wear a lot of stamina crafted sets because they get a free 30 percent stamina regen. They can easily get the weapon damage and sustain they need while wearing them. For my stamina templar(unless i am a bosmer) i am basically forced to wear non crafted because of how much better they are and since i don't get that crazy regen i am forced to use my gear to supplement that and weapon damage that you find with non crafted. So when people complain about perm dodge rollers with a lot of nirn it is because of nbs most of the time because they are can take a hit with wear crafted sets because of that passive.

    Well, they gotta fix both-- perma roll dodge has its own threads and is a more difficult problem to address.

    But nirn is an easy fix that should work like reinforced, which scales off the item, *not* off your entire resistance.

    By taking so long to fix it Zeni is making the situation worse in that more and more people have learned to exploit the issue and are basically now expecting to not get hit "hard" by spells. Therefore, when nirn is fixed, all these folks will start crying nerf to magicka builds which will simply be back at about the same level with stamina damage.

    Soooo Nirn is broken but:

    - Shield staking is ok?
    - Regenerate magica while runing or moving shealthed is ok?
    - Block casting is ok?



    Stamina users have ONE pool to block, dodge and use skills, and the stamina pool stop regenerating while runing or moving sealthed...

    That doesnt happen to magica users, low on magica? No problem, run a bit while it regenerates then shield stack and back to kick some asses.


    If you Nerf Nirn i demand a Dmg boost on stamina skills to be on pair with the fact its a pool shared with block/dodge/sprint mechanics, and also i demand Stamina regenerates while moving shealthed or running.

    Please don't be offended, but have you finished leveling? I remember this 'shared pool' concern being quite common around launch. I held it, too. Many of us thought that it was an advantage to do all your damage with magicka, saving your stamina pool for dodges and break free.

    Once you're geared up, the exact opposite holds true. The mechanics encourage you to specialize heavily in either magicka or stamina, all the more so since 1.6. Magicka builds may only use their stam for dodging, but their recovery and cost reductions will not compare to those of a dedicated stamina user in medium armor.

    There are builds that specialize in both -- I can suit up to jack both my recoveries to "permawhatever" rates. But then I'm staring at a 1,600 spellpower, buffed, and I won't be killing anyone competent :)

    @Snit: Finish leveling where? In Howarts?

    1- Perma roll requires a particular combo of gear+champion points, you sacrife stuff to achieve that, besides theres skills atm that go trough roll.
    2- The fact that the "Shared stamina pool" issue was long discussed in the past changes nothing in the present, it has not been fully adressed, its like the vampire&fire thing, you can compensate the negative impact, but in doing so you sacrifice something somewhere.



    All i see is Sorcs wanting to insta gib players while maintaining shields up, bolt escape, that having a full resource avaliable just to block/roll a bit while their magica regenerates and start again.

    The fact that a stamina user has a bigger stamina pool/regeneration doesnt change the fact that the resource its shared with block/roll/sprint/break free...


    But to me the real big offender in this Mag vs Sta war is:

    A stamina user who sprints or moves shealthed stops regenerating stamina.
    A magica user who sprints or moves shealthed keeps regenerating magica.



    One last thing sir, with 33k spell res im still being hit by 10k-15k dmg from magica skills (non ult), so maybe its you the one who needs to finishing leveling in the goblins lair.

    Oh and forgot to add that quite a bit of stamina skills/ultimates that scale with weapon power, weapon crit and stamina STILL require of spell penetration instead of armor penetration...

    Anyone still using the "i have to use my Stamina pool for both my offense and defense" argument really has not been playing ESO in a while. Currently, Magicka users suffer far from from their limited Stamina pool than Stamina users do from their limited Magicka pool.
