I think the community deserves this to work on Bow- Lethal Arrow as well. It is not fair to the any player or class to add this type of mechanic without applying it to all casted abilities. You need to fix this for ALL ABILIETES that use a cast time with LOS break.

    If I'm charging lethal arrow, and you move out of LOS before the ability fires, the ability won't fire at all.

    Same for sorcerer shards etc. This was not a nerf, it was more like fixing a bug

    They already do cancel if you move out of sight.. If you have been hit with them in the past, it's probably lag

    The lethal arrow was flying through the air already. If you move before the cast finishes, it cancels.

    Hmm well us DK didn't want reflective scales nerfed but they did get nerfed so why shouldn't Templars death star beam get nerfed?

    Well, I won't state the obvious that others have already corrected you on.

    But perhaps you should actually look into other casted abilities and how they interact before complaining that your ability was fixed?

    The only other comparable ability to Radiant Destruction is Soul Strike, which I have no problem w/ obeying the same rule as Radiant Destruction.

    The ability doesn't fire if you move out of Line of sight before release. Additionally you could be dealing with lag sometimes when hit out of LOS...just saying. If you fire of Radiant Dest you are at least going to pull off a damage tick or two before they move out of LOS so what's the complaint?

    Completely justified. A beam just cutting through rocks and trees to continue to hit you is stupid. If the same problem exists for other skills simply report. Other buggy skills does not justify this skill remaining buggy.

    Radiant Destruction isn't a casted skill, it's a channeled skill. Lethal Arrow isn't a channeled skill. And you can't use Lethal Arrow if your enemy is out of your LOS. Stop it. Just, stop it.

    crybabies. multippls were exploiting with Radiant Destruction from inside the terrain cast&hide, this is a major great fix, finally. Lethal Arrow got a casting time as many other speels XD the dmg is not instantly that's why you think to avoid it hidding behind a wall XD what kind of players.

    There is a difference between a charged ability (such as Lethal Arrow) and a channelled ability (such as Radiant Destruction). You can dodge a charged ability by breaking line of sight during the "charge time" i.e the 1.05 seconds it takes Lethal Arrow to charge. Once released it will follow you around until it hits you. Its a stalker arrow. Radiant Destruction is instant cast but goes on for 2.5 seconds, so the change has been made so that should your target run behind a wall it will break the channelling of the spell and not instantly burn through the wall to continue striking your target.

    Why is it that people playing Templar characters are always complaining? I've seen Templars kicking major butt in the game. Some of the most impressive displays of rapid and thorough decimation of enemy NPCs I've so far seen have been Templars. In one dungeon, a VR1 DK couldn't hold a candle to a lvl 42 Templar in the group, yet they are always whining on the boards. If you look at the leaderboards, Templars are highly represented. C'mon MAN!

    That's a latency issue. Pretty much impossible to fix.

    Well the player admitted that they hadn't played the game in months and was still getting used to it again, but still. My main is a VR1 DK, and I could never dispatch enemies as quickly as that player did!

    I cant cast any bow abilities when you are hiding behind a tree or wall, RD I would hide behind trees or go threw keep doors and still get damage done to me.

    I was being serious. I see Templars kicking butt all over the game, and in the forums, all I hear is whining. I've actually began to roll alt Templars because the class must be powerful. They get ultimate like 3X faster than a DK.

    The skill ignoring line of sight had to be fixed for obvious reasons.

    I just wish ZOS would show similar enthusiasm when it comes to fixing the numerous outright broken skills, usability issues and balancing problems working to the detriment of Templars...

    if you think templars are FOTM right now you are a joke sir.... templars are utterly weak right now , the only way you can damage anything is go stam and use nothing but the usual 2h abilities same as with dk's...

    basically 2 classes are reduced to pretty much ignoring 90% of class abilities if they want to kill anything.

    Yea stam builds are good now but no one is using a stam build there only using wrecking blow.
