Greetings all!
I am an older Vanquish member who fell out of ESO for awhile due to some real life issues. I sure would like to come back to what is surely the best guild in the game!

Savina✭✭✭Special thanks to our most recent officer Tethalion for hosting "The Great Vanquish Race" (with our boots and weapons only) this weekend in Craglorn. It was a first of its kind, but it will NOT be the last. Everyone had a great time and some laughed until they cried. Find out more about the Race and/or the Vanquish guild here.

Evening folks. Played at release. Kicked some butt in Cyrodil but left shortly after launch. Came back 3 months ago and played hard for morrowind release for a month but got so disappointed with the community and everyone so focussed on vendors and leeching as much gold from people as possible I left again.
Not blaming my ESO experience on anyone but Im in my mid 40s and played every MMO since UO and EQ, asherons call, EVE, WOW... damn I think I may have a problem. Oh well nothing another glass of whiskey wont cure.
I enjoy progressing and accomplishing things and I love PvP when it is at least remotely balanced. Enjoy gaming with others as long as they are respectful and fun. Almost given up hope that old school MMOers still exist... RESTORE MY FAITH!!

For mature gamers looking for a zero drama guild experience and enjoy helping others more than yourself, come check us out.

I'm an Australian gamer and I've been a member of this guild, Vanquish, since back when Guild Wars 2 launched. If you're Australian/Oceanic and is looking to have a very well-structured support network and player-base with you, you're in the right place.
The reason why I stuck with this guild even though only maybe 10% (for the moment) play around my active time-zone is because the guild in-itself is really fun. It's filled with witty people who enjoys taking the *** and won't take themselves too seriously.
There're generally no problems with people being too cliquey or giant-egos getting in the way of a relaxed couple of hours running a raid/dungeon while having a laugh on teamspeak. It's basically just a pub for MMOs where people hang-out for whatever reason they want, whether it be downing Hard-Mode or just soloing and want some voices and comradery in the background. I've always liked the idea of having people I know, and people who know me, beyond my last raid-score when I log-in and say hi.
This guild also goes further than any particular game. ESO is the core right now, but there are sections for HoS, Diablo, Destiny-2, etc. So my point is, this is where you can find a bunch of people that you can make friends with in the long run, and hopefully there'll be more people around Australian/Oceanic timezone very soon.

Not at all! Though I still don't know why you needed my mother's maiden name and the name of my first pet. But honestly, this guild is great. Lots of daily events, and full of friendly, welcoming people. Just on my first day I did a plunder skull train, a teaching run, and a pledge group. Definitely a great guild to join!0 -
