What really crushes the PvP spirit (NA-DC Chrysamere)

To clarify the AD issues: The scrolls reset. Warden and Rayles are very susceptible to resetting, AD's gotten scrolls back this way several times. They were not capped by exploiting, as I would never allow my squad to use an exploit (the few times we've taking advantage of the no walls glitch were before I banned it). I thank DC and EP for allowing me my scrolls to the end of campaign, it greatly boosted morale.

According to the most recent information I have, he is the leader of Misfits. Formerly it was Eros and I would not have suspected a change until I heard otherwise. This point must be conceded because it is true, insults aside.

I should clarify this point. Eros was/is the ESO division leader of Misfits. He has never been the guild leader. He is an officer in the guild itself. The guild leader tag in game was given to him due to medical issues I have been having, hence I do understand the confusion.

As a side note, I never said the scrolls were exploited, I said they reset. Scrolls have a habit of doing that for some reason.

The emp farming is out of hand. It's bad design! Take away *ALL* Former Emperor passives. Increase the passive buff that the realm who has emperor gets, but make it a for the realm buff... XP, Gold drops, etc.

Making it so that former emp passives are nearly required is having people farming it like crazy.

I stand corrected and thank you for pointing out my misunderstanding. I wish you the best of luck with your medical issues.

As for the scrolls, they just... reset? I've never seen that happen before, but that doesn't mean that it didn't happen.

Wow, you really are clueless aren't you.
    You seem upset.
Since I am the guild leader of Misfits, I think I speak for them, but then again, maybe I am just imagining that, just like I imagined you guys always capping keeps when we had far fewer people then you online.
Eros left? Damn, my condolences. I really am out of the loop.

18 people? I must be very bad at counting
    You are.
but then you know, I guess everyone on DC the last 1 1/2 months was bad at counting.
Well, we kept hearing about this "fifty" figure, so it's possible. Yes, 18 people was our batting average, I'm sorry to say. We had 25 for one night about a month ago, that was nice. Never got more than that.
Then again, I suppose it doesn't matter how many people you field when you guest in AD (which is humorous since you couldn't even manage to guest in an EP guild until the last week)
We don't guest in AD. Are you referring to my earlier comment? I wanted AD to come in after the reset to heat things up on the server. You were the guys palling around with AD for the most part, but there were only a few of them. The idea was to change that, which I'd kinda hoped a couple of our native AD were also working on.
Lastly, AD's scrolls reset to their scroll temples. They did not take them back. Mayhaps you should pay attention to things like that.
    *facepalm*
Oh, sorry, almost forgot, as far as the "oil pot exploit" goes, I have no idea, I don't actively look for things to exploit. Just as I never exploited mages
You did. We watched you. You actually spawned a few behind me once at a siege vehicle with my Magelight up, which wasn't a bright idea, but it wasn't a bannable offense anyway. Just sucky sportsmanship. You weren't the only one (you did the most), but that player quit when those were removed, didn't they?
    I bought them, placed them
You bought them and exploited them. Duh. You'd drop some twenty of them at any time, and in such a way as to make certain each of them were bugged and invincible. If they were killable, we could deal with them, and when we wiped, we did deal with them, because they were killable.
watched them kill you when it was 15+ EP against 2-3 DC
At an outpost; and that was about nine or ten just to split you guys up, as we only need about eight to take a keep. I made a post about that weeks ago with a screen, no names of course.

I never left. I was given "control" of misfits in ESO due to Venithar's Health. I have never been "Guild Leader" I am just a humble division leader (I look after ESO only) Venithar looks over the whole guild and ALL the games we play (Battlefield 3, Archeage Beta, ESO etc..etc.)

We left Chrysamere because we are in the process of Merging with another PVP guild. We go where they go. We also left chrysamere because 2 way fights are pointless and Menage a trois are 10x as fun(college would tell you that if you were lucky).

The fact that this *** is going on in chrysamere..makes me barf. You really shouldn't worry though. [Redacted-DC Guild] may be a guild that uses TS, but i've noticed their tactics are zergy(and they spam zone chat a lot). If you have an ounce of PVP in you you can counter zergs.

I am surprised you are sticking with chrysamere. I like 3 way fights.

Ah, I see. Thanks for clearing that up. I was just told you "left", but I didn't know anything about the guild's structure to begin with. I don't have anything personally against Venithar for the record, it was just always easy to coin you for the leader of the guild. I think Rockfighters is the same way though, you wouldn't really be able to see who's leading from the players you encounter most. A certain Nightblade comes to mind.

    Yeah, I'd heard of that much. ;.;

Oh man, you're tellin' me. We were almost all set to get that going on Chrysamere, but still no AD, unfortunately.

We did; like I said, we had tons of fun with the zerg before the exploiters amongst them emerged. It was like twelve of us against fifty-ish, and we just had them oscillating between their home keeps. :D

I am surprised you are sticking with chrysamere. I like 3 way fights.
I want to, but I'm holding out until Rockfighters moves. I'll guest anywhere, though. That's all there is to do at the moment, I can't even look at Chrysamere right now.

This is way we were looking for an active AD guild, sadly I wouldn't invite my worst enemy to Chrysamere and this makes that dream of a 3 way a bit harder to obtain, lucky for me I went to college and understand the heightened fun of adding a 3rd to the mix.

@ or unconventional at best; But I truly tried and did want to make PvP fun for everyone, as can be seen due to the fact we never used any exploits or glitches, even though I had people trying to convince me to do so (This includes people from EP) I'll miss stabbing you in the back and impaling (Of course I'm not going to say you ever killed me, even if you did) you and I do hope you have better luck on whatever server you land in, because no one should have to put up with the things going on in our server or any other server.

As for sticking it out, I'm honestly torn, I enjoy PvPing and I'd like to say I'm good at it and good at leading, this is why no one on either side kept emperor for long. But it is truly a travesty to see what is currently happening and even worse that we had an honest DC roll in after you guys left because I was actively going to post on here to look for a AD guild about our size to add to the fun. We'll get our moral back, just going to take a bit of time. Was a large blow to see what we worked so hard for disappear so quickly.

It's not just Chrysamere these events are happening on. On the server our guild switched to, a DC guild has been desperately trying to get emp swapping started, but we've stymied them at every go. They leave keeps broken open, resources untaken, all in an effort to get things flipped as quick as possible.

We've told them we won't have any part of it and we've been defending every last keep, even when it's 40 v 8 at times.

So, I normally don't like coming on the forums, but after last night I felt like adding my thoughts to this thread.

Last night was the first time I quit the game in frustration, anger and disgust. I will normally play up to the point when I'm tired. Last night I logged several hours before I normally do and I've been upset all morning... I know this is a video game, but it is also a competitive pvp game and when you see someone or a group of people cheating it ruins the fun right?

Since the campaign reset, we've had a group of DC exploiters (the first night which has been discussed already in this thread), followed by a guild of EP - my own faction - emperor trading; or "sharing" according to them and then last night.

Last night a sizable group of AD came in. They numbered probably 20-25. I thought this was great at first, as AD as a faction has been dead on Chrysamere for a long time. However as the night moved on, it became apparent that they were a lot of former emperors and some that weren't, but that were on the score board.

My gut tells me that this group came in to emperor farm their other non emperor guild mates. Whether they are conspiring with the EP guild doing the same, I can't confirm but for me this is the realization that occurred to me. Chrysamere has become an emperor crowning factory. PvP is dead.

I have no desire to play in a campaign that engages in emperor trading or farming.

    So TLDR:
Emperor Farmers: You've ruined Chrysamere and PvP across servers. Thanks for nothing.

Unfortunately I didn't get names or screenshot. I'm sure someone else in our group did. I watched your video and that is very much in line with how that group was last night... We set up a blockade in front of their scroll running group twice last night and place down every imaginable cc and used fire pots and they just ran straight through unhindered and took zero damage...

In addition at least one member of our group reported being hit by insane damage that did not have a name tied to..

There could be a good explanation for this? I just don't know what it would be. By the same token I don't know what exploits they were using if they were..

Remove former emperor passives... remove emperor benefits.. I know this is not my campaign or whatever, but read through the first 10 posts or something.. if kids cannot get along.. take their toy away and do not give it back.

Not sure about the crazy damage thing. But they could all be running immovable plus stacking barriers. With 6 stacked you effectively have around 10k health

It really saddens me this is happening to Chrysamere. I was there when the AD emp farm group came in, and it was only after watching them use several exploits that I finally left Chrys altogether. I cannot speak for the AD there anymore, but I do hope that the emp farming on Chrysamere stops and the terrible reputation my old home has gotten is cleared.

Sorry I guess no one informed the rest of the ESO player base that those 2 guilds had exclusive rights over the entire campaign. Probably should have had Zos lock it out for all the other players, then this never would've happened.
There is more going on in the ESO PvP world than just that campaign friend.

I'm pretty sure no one reported him, and if they did it should obviously be disregarded, because he was playing the game properly. No one said he wasn't, and I don't think personal wrongings are grounds for banning in this game.

Stop making this personal by attacking me here dude. Just because I'm defending them doesn't necessarily mean I have any affiliation with them, and if your going to accuse entire guilds of people with hacking, exploiting, and harassing you should have proof on every single one of them or it's meaningless.

What you probably consider harassment was probably just many individuals acting individually to try and convince one person on their own. Not a coordinated attack to socially, mentally, and emotionally assault another player. So stop being ridiculous.
EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS??? LOL. im sorry, I could not read the rest of your post. ill go back and read it now. but. lol. exclusive rights my a**. by what reason does your pathetic emperor farming guild have exclusive rights to that campaign?

Ok. So I wasn't actually gonna post here but after reading every single reply I find it all rather amusing.

Firstly I must state that I can only speak for this current campaign and for events that have occurred in this past week. Whatever happened last campaign is irreverent to me.

I know for a fact that Emperor farming is non-existent on this campaign as I play there on a daily basis and in order for emp farming to occur you kind of need someone to flip the inner keeps. I find it funny ya'll are assuming this server is flipping emp when there literally is about 5 DC here and there every other day. I wont even touch the AD emp farmers that seem to pop up every now and then because they simply don't get anywhere.

Also, everytime I read your posts about Rockfighters in defence of the guild all I heard was this campaign was ours and should still be ours. You come across as having been severely pissed off that other guilds joined the campaign once it reset. It seems like you've thrown a tantrum, jumped to conclusions and in turn refuse to play on the campaign based on absolutely nothing. This rather amuses me because you say your guild was actually really good, this I would really like to see (genuinely not sarcastically) especially when those AD emp farming come knocking. It'd be nice to see some other faces around Cyrodiil.
