DK nerf complaint threads- and the joy they bring.

Not all DKs whine about "nerf". I just don't only not mind it, I agree with balancing, even if it happens to be "my" class.

I think most who screams about anything being changes to the "worst" for them are the type of person who don't really care about balance for the game as a whole, but only are interested in how well they do in the game.

If it happens to be that they would do high damage because of using character skills that is overpowered, I simply think they don't care and see it as they are good player. The simple idea that it was the character skill and not their skill, might not even occur to them.

Adapt your playstyle when you have being using an overpowered skill, is the REAL skill of a player.

I did this myself when the bash skill was overpowered. Bash works just fine. You simply have to get good at it, and time it well to interupt your target. (I fail a lot at this)

Mean Zenimax are taking away their ability to play well. Bad bad Zenimax for balancing and forcing people to use their player skill, and not a class skill!

The Vampire "ooops", is a good example of this. DKs skills are not THAT overpowered, but you see the same reaction. Some people QUIT, because they where "taken away" their awesome skill to win everything.
The type of player who quits over the balance of 1 skill, is very rarely a type of player who plays games like ESO and many others, that requires personal skill to be good at.

Balancing is a never ending job, and all skills will some way or another be part of balancing. Long term players who enjoy whatever MMO they are playing, welcomes this.

And sorry that about 7 seconds is missing. Nothing special happened during those 7 seconds tho, for the record.
Anywhere, here are VR11 Human mobs in Craglorn.

Right....so you got your ass spanked and came so close to death it's not even funny, and had to use your Ultimate twice (AGAIN, because you did drop a second one in the first vid too). So you think we should have to drop an Ultimate for every group of 3+ mobs as your justification.

You know what, just forget it. I give up. I quit. Maybe I'll come back in a few months and see again, maybe not. Either way, I'm off to cancel our subs

Just get rid of PvP. Turn it off. Make Cyrodiil another co-op PvE zone.

PvP never works well in MMOs, and it wrecks game communities.
I agree. A co-op PvE would be a much better experience. They tried to do that with adventure zones but building them so they require a large group alienates solo players. I was all for exploring the other faction quest lines so long as it was similar to my L1-50 experience however, very few people are actually enjoying the Veteran Ranks so there is very little people to interact with in the first place. I would rather roll a new character, keep my skill progression and skyshards and be reset to level 1 in a new faction and NOT have to redo the story quests.

DKs are fine in my opinion. Tanking and the 1h/s tree and all of the armor skill trees need some attention, but these aren't really DK problems because they affect all 4 classes to varying degrees.

However, the fact that you enjoy the misery of your fellow players does indicate that you are a sadist. I'm fine with that if you are, but if that bothers you at all, there are places you can get help with that problem. ;)
