AD were defending the last AD keep for emp so we went to chalman to help get a 2nd AD keep up but sadly we were not fast enough and the DC crowned a new emperor.

Last time that happened during prime time it was our guild, deep in DC territory, waiting for gate to close while we coordinated with a bigger AD guild which came just in time for us to push it past the gate again (thanks btw), and probably a couple other guilds I'm not too familiar with that helped. We capped that *** at Faregyl only to have it stolen again overnight.

That was the last time in recent memory that I've seen AD do anything organized like that and has not happened since, which is why we AP farm.

P.S. we have supported emp pushes (hi Dragon), scroll defense, and emp defense (last night, hi) in the past and will continue to do so as long as we have a presence. Trolling in zone chat notwithstanding.

Honestly when it comes down to it putting a scroll in a tower, a Church or really any defensible position is still a tactical play, if it draws enemies away from other positions then obviously its very effective, you can call it troll, you can call it AP farming as much as you want, but realistically its a tactical play weather people like it or not.

Sometimes yes it won't work and it doesn't as much as it used to and people don't follow it as much but many times in the past a scroll has been held in a defensible stronghold leading the enemies to attack it well they lost the rest of the map, obviously sometimes it has the opposite effect luring your own players to try and escort it.

Lots of people have a very simple minded view on cyrodill, simple fact is the map is massive and all sorts of things have tactical advantage if you look at it the right way, there are all sorts of short an long term plays that can be very effective.

Now in terms of the campaign score there is a lot of win and lose talk in this thread, but besides just straight out self satisfaction or bragging rights their is no motivation for players to really care about the score, if there was tiers of proper rewards you might see players care about the score more but for a bit of gold that isn't even a big amount no one really cares, hopefully in the future this will change and we might see a lot more competitive objective play.

Would be nice to get some DC/EP Oceanic guilds for Wabba 2.0 so that AD Oceanic guilds would have some opposition. As far I noticed they're the only faction on Wabbajack that has Oceanic presence.

This would be nice - as it is what happens overnight - based on the AD attack mode for that evening - has a large part to play in what happens on the server for the day - it would be nice if it were a three way fight that maintained some semblance of balance.

Those AD claim they just want fights - not to PvDoor...but personally...I wonder.

Congrats to EP!

This victory is an effort of the entire Ebonheart Pact Alliance, working together, staying overnight to defend against oceanic AD, sitting through lag against the DC zerg with a 50k point deficit, logging on early to retake what we lost. When Vokundein joined Wabbajack EP and AD were 50k behind DC and the map was entirely blue, DC felt complacent with the situation. We took them out of their comfort zone and began a real fight until EP could be a threat again. Wabbajack began to grow and AD came even later with a strong presence too, and staying ahead was no easy task. Thanks everyone for the fun fights and the awesome competition, we hope to continue having great fights as we did this last campaign.

Sorry AD you didn't make the cut to get an epic certificate.

Well if you're going from the beginning history of this info then DC was given 90k+ points to start the campaign. Some of us have been here since launch and were here to experience the fluctuations in populous. AD lead... then DC took over for a bit longer.. then EP took the reigns..

I would also venture to say Fixate and thecondemned or whatever guild is what took DC out of their mindless comfort zone. As you can see from that lengthy emperor reign timeline according to esostats.com. Something about a practically unkillable emperor DK with no aoe cap for talons/banner wiping 20 people at a time by himself; was a bit disheartening for folks. Throw in their group with more dk's and heals. Throw some bat swarms in there.. It was pretty comical to watch as they wiped droves of DC.

Good times though and more to come....hopefully

Yeah talon spam was cheap and they fixed it. Fixed it enough to the point that dk emps aren't as OP as sorc emps still are:

Two to three bolt escapes through a crowd = death by bolt escape and an emp with his negate up from zero to full ulti.

Eh TBH you're thinking about it too much. DK's are still the best emps (maybe a templar would work well now). Sorcs, if they know what they are doing, will only get a slight boost from emperor bonus.
