Also you're comparing apples with oranges. A gap closer can only close the gap to one target. If a melee warrior alone is targeted by 3 ranged units, he's toast because he can only close gap with one while the others will kite him to death. The Sorc could escape, not just 1 or 2 enemies but the whole field of combat and BE to the next safe keep. It's nowhere near the same thing however much you cry about it....

I wish they implement this penalty when ur actually in combat tho instead of at all times. I use the skill mainly to travel fast when I'm in the wilderness.

Certainly this skill needs to be changed to prevent the infinite use of it (apparently, some hack is involved), but for those of us who use it as intended we could only actually escape combat about half the time because many other players figured out how to counter it.

Nor do they bolt escape to the front lines instead of retreating maneuvers + light horse. Nice try. I read what you wrote. You want the button to be mashable so you can run away. That's the very reason it's being nerfed. The number of sorcerers spamming it offensively, successfully: not many. The number of Bolt-spammers fleeing over the hills only to return and rez their allies shortly after: hundreds.
The number of Sorcerers in Cyrodiil travelling by spam instead of horse thus having a safer method of fast travel than is intended: all of them.
This is how it should be. It shouldn't be spammed. It should be used for escaping a bad situation, or moving into position for a gank or whatever. It shouldn't be used to travel as fast as my 65% horse.
why not? bolt escape is most useful for travel (it still is), how many sorc did you actually see spamming that in a combat. lol

Talon should be shrank to 1m radius, since DK smash that non-stop.

They don't? We must all be imagining it. You obviously forget.. I also play WITH sorcerers. I know how much and why they spam about - it's safer than a possible dismount. And we often have horse vs Bolt-spam races to see just how fast it is. I only recently started outrunning bolt-spammers comfortably on a fast horse after getting it to past level 25. Without RM of course. They zap everywhere. It's faster than mounting/dismounting and many of them don't have fast horses. Why bother when you have Bolt-spam right?
I'm also rezzed by spamming sorcerers all the time. I rarely respawn. There's ALWAYS a sorcerer on hand who spammed away to come back and get us up.

question is, spamming BE to travel doesn't constitute OP, it simply doesn't KILL.
All bad players will eat ground even with that nerf.use it again within 4 sec increase cost by 50%.
Are DKs happy now?
