No. It should not be rolled back. Likely some of these problems will be fixed next week in the next patch.

To be honest I just want them to acknowledge that there was a mistake made, and that they will be taking care of it as soon as possible...That alone would satisfy me for the time being since I had and still do have such high hopes for this game

The only reason I said no is that a patch of this magnitude cannot easily be rolled back. They REALLY need to make some adjustments however. Even just reversing the stealth buff to VR mobs (definitely not needed), and reversing the stealth nerf to multiple skills (like the templar spear skill literally locking you out of skill use for at least a second afterwords), is a good start. I don't disagree with all the patch changes, and honestly, im actually seeing less bots now as well.

and I don't disagree with some of the changes they made. bash needed an adjustment. NB needed some love (needed more actually...I'm still holding on on leveling one just because i will NOT play a broke class.) but yeah...rolling back...you act like it was a change of a few lines in a config. a patch of this scale on servers that most likely run multiple processes and daemons is not a simple push button thing. But I can see why people would prefer it...in spite of how much i didn't like with the game the way it was, I'm honestly not sure its better right now.

Too be honest, I'm not sure what your disaster is, but I played about 7 hours today and didn't experience a single problem. So for me to have to rollback because you're having some sort of issue isn't really a solution to me.

    Question answered.

No, I'm not. That doesn't change the fact that I shouldn't have to rollback because you're having an issue. I'd say 95%+ of the player base hasn't reached veteran rank. So I don't see how being VR or not VR is an issue.

I said no because I think they should just move forward and credit our accounts for the instability similar to how they did during launch. I would rather they keep attempting to move forward than spend time moving backwards. I have no idea how much time and effort a roll back might take?

If it was as easy as flipping a switch, I might say yes. I don't believe it is that easy though. I think it would mean another one or two days of people downloading and maintenance for a rollback, and that just doesn't seem worth it.

    Edit: blah, grammar.

    1. Leveling VR1-VR10 will now take "forever" thus putting game out of reach for "casuals"
    2. "Error" caused NA PvP server to shutdown
    3. Characters being "edited"... face, hair
    4. Random Crashes
    5. New quest bugs
    6. New Skill bugs
    7. ..

Today's patch really did some damage...rollbacks, random load screens, random punts off to character select, and I have Windows now shutting the game down every 10-15 minutes for memory problems. I had no troubles like this before today's patch.

How much RAM does your computer have? How much is open pre/post running the game? IT may be crashing because it spikes and overloads ur RAM.

16MB...and like I said, I had no trouble with this until today.

They will do an quickfix for the crash and rollback issue after the EU server update is done, it was stated in another tread.
no word about the mob hp issue, probably as this is not an technical issue for support but rater gameplay mechanisms even if its an pretty obvious bug.

All changes are towards a good direction expect the ninja buff to VR content difficulty which I am not even sure that it was intended to be of this level/magnitude. I am pretty sure it will be fixed along with any other issues.

What is needed is more fixes. No rollback whatsoever. So many things are still broken (*cough* Nightblades *cough*).

Any talks on rollbacks are counteproductive. The game's development needs to move forward. Fixes are needed.

You think that after 1 1/2 months most casual players are veteran rank already? I've been playing every other day for a few hours a day and am currently 46th level on my main and 20th on an alt I use with a group. I've taken the time to clear each map region as I've gone through it, read each and every quest, spent time crafting, you know, the stuff people do when they aren't racing to max level.

If you need a mathematical statistic as an example though... if there were 1,000,000 subscribers and there are currently 50,000 veteran rank people, then that would be 5% (making it 95% not veteran). Do you honestly think
there are anywhere near 50,000 characters at veteran rank at the moment?

If there are only 200,000 subscribers, there's still be 10,000 veterans to make up 5%. Do you think that there are 10,000 veterans?

And again , you speak and speak , but you have nothing to back you up.

Dont toss numbers with nothing behind you.

You can at best say that the majority PROBABLY did not reach vr already , i would agree with this , i do agree there more people below vr than at vr at this time.

And i believe there are A LOT MORE than just 10k vr players lols.

Only the devs can toss numbers right now.

Well there is no ideal way to fix it. But the idea that rolling back the patch is gonna solve problems is even further from the correct path. What would be better is just send out an emergency patch to fix things in dire need of fixing the rest can be done with the weekly patches.

What people forget is if they roll-back the patch you'll loose all the progress you made since then as well on your characters and this will probably always be the case even if you've not set foot in Craglorn or other new content. It's a double edged blade.
