Should patch 1.1.2 be rolled back?

tilolyen_ESO

With the numerous issues in the latest patch, which include and are not limited to:
1. Roll backs
2. Missing Quest Achievements
3. VR mobs stealth buffed to be nearly impossible to defeat levels
4. Roll backs
5. FPS issues
6. Random load screens

Should Zenimax make a public statement acknowledging these issues and revert to the previous patch of 1.0.7 and put 1.1.2 back on the PTS for further revision / testing?

Note: If this thread gets enough response, it will FORCE Zenimax to make a statement.

I have doubts as to whether it's technically possible without rolling back character data, too, which really would be The End...

    You are also forgetting:

    1. Unexpected Closure of PVP Campaign US side
    2. Changes to face/hairstyles of some players reported

I would be glad to add these but cannot do to the CRAPTASTIC forum software not allowing it.

Something needs to be done or said. I would at least appreciate an explanation as to what is going on behind the scenes. Short staff, data loss, server issues, etc..

    What is going on Zenimax?

EDIT: Keep this thread alive, our only hopes in getting something.

Also....please DO NOT flame anybody that voted they are not having any issues. The same goes for those not having issues, don't tell those HAVING issues to L2P or "deal with it". The only way this post makes any difference it is stays on point and remains CONSTRUCTIVE.

Wouldn't a roll back on version to 1.0.7 force us to reinstall it since we would have a higher version of client 1.1.2? Cause I doubt the server would let miss matched versions connect.

Example: Minecraft server version 1.7.3 would not let Minecraft 1.8 play because of the difference.

it would be far simpler to fix the health levels on standard veteran level mob than doing an rollback, this is the critical bug.

Stuff like missing achievements, hair and so on is done in the monday update.

Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

I'm stuck at VR2 - I can't survive at all now - ouch. I do like games and a challenge is ok too, but such an abrupt change in difficulty is a bit too much for me to swallow as "Fun".

I do hope VR difficulty is a bug that is correctable and is corrected, otherwise I'll fiddle with alts to 50 till my sub ends. Shame is I was having fun till this patch.

Looks like Memorial day weekend belongs to Wildstar and Neverwinter for me. I had hoped to spend it here. :(

VR2 Templar in a VR2 area getting his behind stomped by what were "trash' mobs just yesterday.

Today's patch really did some damage...rollbacks, NPCs offering me quests that I have already completed, random load screens, random punts off to character select, and I have Windows now shutting the game down every 10-15 minutes for memory problems. I had no troubles like this before today's patch.

How much RAM does your computer have? How much is open pre/post running the game? IT may be crashing because it spikes and overloads ur RAM.

The only way to fix this is to postpone all instances of making a console version and content updates. 90% of the community would rather have the whole ZOS team who created this game to fix it instead of adding pieces to a broken game. We don't want new adventure zones. We don't want new guilds. We don't want housing. We want the company to take its time to fix this game. What happened to the promise of a bug free launch or that our dollars will be put to good use? I have yet to see something along those lines happen.

I really think they just shot themselves in the foot.

I changed from 6 months to month by month then unsubbed and was hoping todays "Patch from the Gods" would change my mind

I like the game, but the redundancy of fubar happening and then telling us that NB fixing are going to be in the next Content patch?

I mean alot of the broken stuff was reported in beta some almost a year ago.

    @Anath_Q‌

AAAh... might be the ram overload lockout. IF a progam uses too much ram too fast it shuts down the program for safety reasons. In theory you can turn this off..,. however is not so easy to do. IT is in the system (computer) info section known as "DEP (Data Execution Prevention)".

However doing so opens up ur computer to virus so be advised. Also Windows doesn't generally allow you to completey shut it off either so you may not be able to do anything about it.

I already respeced and started lvling 2h instead of Sword and board and got rid of my bash cost reducing jewelry, so no need to roll back now. I already moved on and adapted...a little.

I don't want a roll back, but I'd accept some other form of compensation. A free respec won't take back what 1.1 did, but it would save me a few hours of farming, which is what this patch has taken so far.
