Yeah, i would unsub straight away. Would have zero reason to sub and many others on here have said that in the past too. When i started afresh on the PS4, I had no intention of ever subbing them found out about the craft bag as I loathed the inventory management that was involved on the xbox before the bag was included.

House storage could be used to by pass crafting bags and there fore no reason to sub
A simple solution to that would be to only allow certain item types in each storage container type. Weapon racks - weapons. Mannequins - armour. Wardrobes - clothing/disguises.

Or just Chests - everything except crafting mats.

Yes but that would free up their personall banks to store crafting mays

I agree with Hallothiel. Armour and weapon racks like Skyrim would be perfect. There's a lot of great gear sets that we like to collect. And that would still make the crafting bag desirable. I've never heard of any player housing that didn't have some kind of storage feature

Storage in the houses (Bought for gold) would detract a little from the desirability of craft bags via ESO+ to help with the storage issues.

ZOS needs predictable regular revenue and craft bags are the big draw for ESO + right now... as such I'd be surprised if they did anything to make those less needed/desirable, especially for in game gold, as this will impact the regular revenue stream which is what they need most to carry on.

Not saying I agree with it.... but this would be a big reason when looking at it from a business perspective.

Atleast add an armor storage closet or chest that can hold armor only

Every MMO in the last decade has housing with storage. The only reason not to have storage in ESO housing is because they can't monetize it, it might cut into profits.

    Welcome to ESO.

Eso needs to be more lenient with the burdening limitations of inventory space if you want to be a flexible player who wants to try different varations.
Pack upgrades are expensive post 20k Gold
And banks are ridiculous if you have to consider they store crafting items AND IF IT HAS TO BE SHARED WITH ALL YOUR 8-10 ACCOUNTS !
They don't understand the frustration in dungeons when you always have to throw some imp stuff out to make room for something else you deem valuable. It takes time to think which no group in dungeons ever seem to have.

Merchants have nothing to do with backpack space

The banker system I've already highlighted the stupidity.

Unless I'm some IRL millionaire and can buy my way through the game, I can't have peace of mind accumulating the lore which is the reason anyone plays this game?

What I'd like is just access to my bank in my house but that's already provided with assistants. I wasn't expecting additional storage since in other games that sort of thing can be detrimental to the game itself in terms of lag. I'm not sure exactly how but that was the story. In any event, that has been my assumption. Though it would be nice. I just really need to clean out my bank of all that trait items waiting.

Maybe they can just up the bank space for everyone with the patch. It's overdue. They add more and more to the game, but the bank space has not changed since day one.

I can't wait for housing! I'm planning on buying the biggest thing out there and then letting all of my guildies decorate it anyway they want.

As far as storage goes you will have a minion you can give it to, avoiding the bank altogether, good grief, how much space do you need? :/

That's armoires, i.e. decorative (read- functionless) wardrobes, not armories.

I am even willing to put the burden of remembering which house has what items in it totally on me, which is the way TES Housing has always been anyway.

I just want a place to store my sets and more importantly, my Uniques from Quests. Why have a Unique item if you can't do anything with it but decon it due to storage limitations.

Would I like to see my Trophies in 3D? Sure, but that can wait.

^ Exactly. I would EXPECT it to have those limitations. X Chest can hold 20 items etc. Want more storage? You need to build/buy more chests.

I'm really quite surprised.. I assumed storage would be a given... not something that "didn't make it in".

Thats really how i thought it would be. X dresser holds 10 items, Y dresser holds 15, Crown store dresser holds 20.

I can kindof understand them not wanting to make a whole separate "home" inventory system since it would render bank space and bank space crown store increases unnecessary. I wouldnt mind something as simple as keeping it all tied into the same bank inventory. Like a small house adds 25 bank space, medium house adds 50, large adds 100...something like that. Just some storage incentive to buy a house.

I don't think storage should be included with the house, as others have said it would make upgrading bank space pointless, and make upgrading your bag almost pointless, the game needs things to spend money on. I would like to see storage implemented, but with an in game cost of gold that costs the same, if not more than bank space, simply with a higher cap, maybe 500 or even 1000 items.

I also have to think of performance, the game already suffers a bit from performance issues, from my understanding with the instancing of housing combined with how many people like to hoard thousands of items, would encouraging even more hoarding not hurt performance and require more bandwidth?

While the thought of free storage with your house is a nice idea and realistic to real life, it makes less sense when you consider the negatives, I don't want millions of gold in my bank with nothing to spend it on, upgrading inventory space has been a huge drain on my gold keeping me poor until its complete, and I think its the right way to go about it.

I don't think anyone in this thread would mind having to pay some gold for the extra storage capacity in their home. They just want it to be available.

This game has so many different gear sets now for players to experiment with and use it's almost impossible to find room for it all. And it gets really old (and annoying) having to create new characters just to try and store it. It also discourages players from creating new characters - which can hurt the game long-term.

The whole inventory management mini-game is terribly tedious and boring. Removal of inventory limitations would make this game much more enjoyable.

There are many more interesting and less obnoxious ways to monetize than charging for inventory space.

I have 200 inv. Spots so I can continue to travel and loot. Housing storage would not hinder or make this better. It's typically stuff I sell/decon. How on Tamriel does this affect my inventory space?

Bank/inv. Space is a pathetic gold sink, it cost very little for the convenience of not coming back to town every so often.

Would housing storage actually cause performance issues or is that just an assumption?
