It's their new way of letting know that they are paying attention even when they can't make a statement. More info is also great, but it still beats not even knowing what they are paying attention to. Hopefully we'll get more on some of these lurks in the "ESO Live!" today...lordrichter wrote: »ZOS_RichLambert wrote: »/lurk

I sure hope the game is more responsive, 1.6 compared to 1.0-1.5 has been about as responsive and intuitive as a goldfish.

We've commented on this particular one before, but it's possible the info got buried with how busy the forums have been. To reiterate, addressing the current issues with the Nirnhoned Trait requires some redesign--if it was something we could hotfix or quickly get into an incremental patch, we certainly would have. The changes are planned for the Imperial City patch, and Eric Wrobel will actually be discussing what those changes are in today's ESO Live show, if you're able to tune in. (If not, we'll do our best to provide a summary of what the changes will be.)

EVERYTHING is planned for the Imperial City patch which is likely 2 months before it hits live. WHY does everything have to go in "The Next Major Update". Why can't the fixes, improvements, and even PvP changes go into an earlier, smaller patch?

LOL... WHAT?! Every single nerf since launch has been the result of PvP whining. Now they just announced they're going to nerf blocking....... YES, BLOCKING. Why? Because of ENDLESS crying in the Alliance War forum about "perma-blockers" or whatever.
PvP is RUINING this game because of all the so-called "balancing" you guys keep asking for... and ZoS gives it to you!

There are plenty of ZOS posts regarding all kinds of fixes, improvements, and changes. All being thrown into "The Next Major Update". Pretty sure my post said fixes, improvements and PvP changes. I never specifically mentioned Nirn. Chill out.

The next major patch is when exactly? (no one knows)
These game breaking bug fixes should be implemented in the incremental patches!
Damn, they're able to hotfix / ninja nerf grind spots over night!
I can foresee the future, the next major patch will introduce more game breaking bugs and balance issues and you will have to wait for another major patch to fix those! Enjoy!

Any ETA on when this patch will be, or when it will at least hit PTS?
such as nirnhoned armor making magicka useless and melee spells going through dodge. Maces that make heavy armor meaningless, and players getting stuck after they charge.
I agree -- it's mystifying. How does it take three to six months to fix simple stuff like this? And these should be simple. The mace armor penetration thing is obviously a bug. The other issues are also clearly not working as intended, and none need to be at all complicated to fix. They're a matter of changing a couple numbers in a database. That takes six months?
The charge thing may be more complex. But the others make me wonder if ZOS is severely resource constrained. The alternative explanations are less charitable.

Ah, just came back to these forums since leaving after the B2P announcement. Sounds like nothing has changed. But I gotta ask, is PvP still the laggy and unplayable piece of dirt that it was then?
