Hey, i just did a fun test and equiped fassala set (5 pieces) + Skoria and have been running into large groups of enemys.
Fun think is, that healin debuff applies to npc´s and IT IS proccing skorias comet.

If it is not intended fix it pls.

Skoria is buffed to 6% but still has the internal CD.

Does it proc the Skoria comet by taking dmg?
Or do enemies get the healing debuff when they're hit by the Skoria comet?

    1. enemys(npc) attack me and get the green stuff around them(fassala proc).
    2. i just take the dmg and do nothing in terms of fighting back.
    3. skoria procs on the healdebuff that fassala´s added to them.

From the sound of this, the "heal debuff" could be taking the form of disease damage, which would mean the skoria proc is working correctly.

Looks like it yes, maybe a disease DOT ticking for 0 dmg.

@actosh are you able to heal-debuff multiple targets at the same time?

Intersting, so theoretically the Leeching Set or Bahraha's Curse should also proc VS?

I hope they don't waste resources fixing this since Skoria isn't very good now.

How is it not very good still given the changes? On PTS the proc was hitting for 10k minimum on an unoptimized char with ~2.5k spell damage. When running around Hew's Bane killing mobs it would sometimes proc 2-3 times per fight (while other fights it never proc'd, such is RNG). Is it reflectable? Or is it that raw spell damage (eg Kena) will always be better?

kena is better and the proccs are extremely inconsisten. i tested it twice and it proced once in a 40 seconds fight (around 100 dotticks).
So it's not worth imo...sadly, would be great if it would get usefull again.

Some tests here seem to prove that valkyn can only proc on the first tick. For a dot-gameplay it's bad (because you don't re-apply your tick a lot), but for proccing set or one/little hit dot (sorc curse/mine, detonation, templar puncturing strike), it can be really good.

I posted elsewhere, but on PTS I am having Valkyn consistently proc throughout the duration of a DoT. It's easy to test on NB with Debilitate/Crippling Grasp. There may be other issues like I've seen others mention, such as DoTs of the same length/tick interval not "stacking" chances to proc or something like that, but I was definitely getting VS to proc on non-first ticks.

In my testing Skoria is never more than 3% of my DPS. On the other hand, Nerien'eth is never less than 5%.

Curse and mines are not Dots for the purposes of Skoria, and it does proc on ticks besides the initial one. Summary of my testing on that.

So, confirmed, simply being struck while wearing Fassala's is enough to proc a meteor. Yes, @ThatNeonZebraAgain, Bahraha's procs Skoria. I don't own a set of Leeching to test that one.

It's an odd combination, but I don't think this is a bug. Both sets are operating as intended, it's just that Fas is representing itself to the player as a status, rather than a dot effect. Maybe they could add an exception, if unintended?

EDIT: For posterity's sake: This behavior has been fixed, it was a bugged effect rather than an internal dot. I was wrong about Daedric Curse and Daedric Mines, they are dots for Thaumaturge/Skoria purposes.

Wow, thanks for testing and providing the images. Bahraha+Valkyn Skoria seems like it would be a fun combo. For PvP you could add Vicious Death to make for some pretty crazy keep fights.
