Dont go judging people that way... you dont know what I care or dont

they can make a thousand things to bring dragons to the game without having the lore broken... wait for it...

Indeed. This also applied to bringing back the Dwemer or the unaltered Falmer.

And ZOS has to have permission for anything that might break lore. Ticking off a large segment of the fan-base for money might happen, but it would be a bone-headed move to have dragons appear in the 2nd Era or sell baby dragons in the crown store as has been requested in the past.

The two ways to get around the lore-based prohibition to meeting Dragons, Dwemer, or unaltered Falmer and the like would be a "crisis point time-travel zone" (sending player-characters through time to a period of disarray and imminent destruction or decimation of the local culture or society so that people wouldn't remember or notice the strangers among them) or a "lost pocket of Oblivion zone" (some part of Tamriel got sucked into a timeless bubble and because of blah blah blah the inhabitants can never leave) but neither possibility has ever been put on the table. And that still doesn't include the dragon pets (thank the Divines).

Nope, I just don't like lore-breaking to bring in one of the least interesting races in Tamriel. Folks who want Dragons can get Skyrim really cheap with all DLC included.

as I said... there are ways to not break the lore... and still have dragons =D

you see... if you think about everyone in the world... the love for the dragons is way grater than for the lore...
Now the big boss of The elder Scrolls should know that... and if the plan is to make this game last for more years they wil have to release something to keep those that dont care mutch about the game lore... its business

Also Im not saying I dont care about the lore... but my love for dragon is greater...

And they can do this withou breaking the lore...

Take all that and thats why dragons will come to the game... just my opinion ofc

And why is that every few months someone asks for dragons/dwemer/falmer/akavir?
Some things get their charm from being ambiguous and some thing will lose their charm if they'll start appearing too often.

I get it, "Skiyrum iz greatz omg", but as far as I'm concerned TES doesn't need even one more single dragon. Dragons are not a selling point of TES (but it seems they've become just that for a lots of people).

    /rant off

On a more serious note, I'm fine if they "tease" a dragon but only if they do it proper! I don't want dragons becoming a gist (again).

People would rather read the lore books and find ways to prove that something is "lore breaking" then just playing the game and having fun. They act as if its a real world and if you break the lore in any little way it will sucks everyone into a black hole. Its hilarious. Though 90% of the people who I play with who are on the leaderboards either don't care about lore or have no idea what lore is . If you add dragons to an eso game it wont be that big of a deal. I see no lore breaking if the content is made by the people who created the universe. For instance, even if Tolkien completely changed parts of his story and people cried lore breaking, it is not lore breaking as was the creator himself who did it. Other people changing parts of his story without his consent IS lore breaking.

Yeah, it's like having the Christmas season starting in September now. It's popular and it makes money, but by Thanksgiving I am tired of "Christmas". I think having the "crisis point time-travel zones" or "lost pocket of Oblivion zones" would be fine if, even while there, you only got hints of the Dwemer or Falmer or Dragons, but they still remained largely unseen and mysterious. But then people would complain that it was a lot of hype for nothing.

Not really. There is no "author" of TES. And the keyword here is "integrity". If you don't like the world and the lore you have created, then remove yourself from it and don't remove the creation from others.

There is no evidence whatsoever to suggest it is a dragonbreak, dragonbreaks only happen if time breaks and nothing in ESO has does anything that would cause that.

Also Dragons are already in ESO, they are called Daedric Titans which are corruptions based off of a Dragon Molag Bal lured into his realm, that ozzzocahr or whatever his name is, He is the first titan and his bones are made from the same Bones as that Dragon.

But Zenimax didn't create the universe, that company they parent over known as Bethesda did.
