New players not standing a chance on console against transfers!!
Hello as a new person coming to ESO for PS4 will there be servers for only fresh starters and not people getting transfered in with there veteran rank 10 characters from pc?
Or will we new players have to be bullied by these transfer characters and them screw up the market.

****So after reviewing all the posts what it seems is obvious.***
- PC Vet Players with VR Ranks and Champion points (So New console players don't meet these players as they will ruin your game experience ignore them simple and do not join the regular campaigns as they will gank and grief you and you cannot do a single thing except wave a stick at them)
- Already players with 5million gold seek to exploit the market and make it so new starters will have to struggle for every coin they get.
- Expect to play for 2-3 months to get any chance of competing with these players.
So all in a basket we all on for a ride.
Shame I did not read sooner about this otherwise would of told my cousin not to purchase this game hoping it be a fresh start.
ZeniMax should of only let transfers in about 1-2 months after release not on day 1 launch what a way to ruin a experience for console players.

F2P, B2P, etc. are valid, proven business models - but subscription is the one that fits ESO the best, given our commitment to freedom of gameplay, quality and long-term content delivery. Oh there will be the non vet Blackwater Blade. However, a lot of those vets will have low level alts with 300 CP there to stomp you.

Grimnaur✭✭✭This is one thing I don't agree with ZOS on. It is a megaserver, so it will not ever change, but I think FFXIV made a great move with there release of ARR(2.0). They had veteran servers for people from 1.0 to keep their characters, then new servers for new people or veterans to start over on. This will turn several new console players away.

Sounds like a poorly made choice by ZeniMax only in it for money only to end up losing players on a game being released on console for first time for them as they allowed people to transfer there geared and all characters.
They should of just allowed a account transfer with no characters only name reservations and free copy of ESO for XB1 and PS4. like some other mmos did.
Talk about ruining a game launch for another platform that been delayed for a year only for them to screw it up just to squeeze extra money.8 -

Yes, you should. If you got to the store to buy X but its not available, so you buy something else to make do for a while, you can't take it back and trade it when X becomes available.
Now to be fair, I am a pc player, firmly staying on pc for life....BUT I do believe console players deserve the same opening of the gate that we were given. PVP is going to be owned by Vet transfers and Trading will be owned by Vet transfers, and it will take months, (if even) for new console players to have a fair crack at it. It's a bald lie to pretend anything but.
If options weren't necessary, and everyone played the same way, no one would use addons. Fix the UI!7 -
To be fair also I did play on the PC when it was not F2P. However I decided to come back to PS4 launch with some real life friends and family and that it would hopefully be a fresh start and everyone else will start fresh however it seems this is not the case.

I would be less likely to play a new MMO that already had maxed out people in it. Well there is no point doing pvp so I rather do PVE and and let the players that transfered enjoy being in a war zone with no population.

Well, of course new players can catch up eventually and not all of us who are transferring are bullies looking forward to whacking innocents. Honestly I cant say whether this will be as big of an issue as some might be worried or not yet. Ill have to weigh in on this once I get into PvP and see how much these Transfers are effecting it.
