Well to be perfectly honest with you it was 3 stores together with that number. One in the mall and the other two stores on different sides of town. I find it funny that there are people upset enough to give it a name. "TransferGate" is a very interesting way to put it. What the OP fails to understand is that why is this any different than someone buying the PC version today, but others that have been playing for over a year have a huge lead? It is no different. Like the person I am quoting points out, what is the difference? A month from now there will be console gamers in the VR or close to it, but then new players will be coming in all the time.
I just don't see it being that much of an issue. There will always be players ranked a lot higher than someone coming in fresh and new.
To restate what you just said:
This is the exact same issue faced now by new pc players, and is an important problem that need a solution or else new players will never be able to compete, they will get disheartened and leave, existing players will get bored with declining population and they will leave and the game servers will die and be shut down...so...Basically a huge problem that zos is totally ignoring0 -

Look at wow , where its going. Players dont want 1 year catch up system anymore. Champion system is broken, and it will kill this game if its not removed.

Its not his fault , not your fault either , its zenimax fautl with there stupid idea of champion sytem in 2015 , that would have been cool like... in 2002 for a mmo. Not today
This game isnt diablo3 (paragon level , its about same system has champion points .actualy the champion points system look like a copy from the paragons level ystem in d3) and is nowhere near same game style ... so I dont know why they taught that would be healthy for the game.
Hehe imagine when they get out new end game stuff in 1 year how are they gonna ballance that considering there will be player with around 1000 champion point and some with 50 or so.. HAHA good luck zenimax. GG you shoot yourself in the foot all waisted time developping a broken system. Give the damn game to a real game studio already!

The issues you highlighted were sooooooo predictable I was appalled when ZOS allowed transfers. ****So after reviewing all the posts what it seems is obvious.***
- PC Vet Players with VR Ranks and Champion points (So New console players don't meet these players as they will ruin your game experience ignore them simple and do not join the regular campaigns as they will gank and grief you and you cannot do a single thing except wave a stick at them)
- Already players with 5million gold seek to exploit the market and make it so new starters will have to struggle for every coin they get.
- Expect to play for 2-3 months to get any chance of competing with these players.
So all in a basket we all on for a ride.
Shame I did not read sooner about this otherwise would of told my cousin not to purchase this game hoping it be a fresh start.
ZeniMax should of only let transfers in about 1-2 months after release not on day 1 launch what a way to ruin a experience for console players.

Daggers✭✭✭For competitive completionists who live for Server Firsts, it's a downer.
But for everyone else it's not all bad. Fewer players in the starting zones scrabbling over scraps (if you played the PC version at launch you know what I'm talking about).
The economy won't be ruined by high level players, it'll be stimulated. MMO economies take time to mature and stabilize, usually being subject to exploits and manipulation by a few (which can't happen so easily with many wealthy players).
And to be frank, the console versions don't have great economy tools anyway (no chat) so that's a back-seat issue.
PvP may actually be more fun. I've not played in a long time (never played past L38 on PC), but I've no fear of jumping into PvP. Champions = Generals, the rest of us will be the grunts. Suits me, I'm happy playing a part. If you want to be a general, well, it's Game On for you!

The fact is, I'm not a hardcore player. I can do somehing in a siege with a group of people but alone, I'm just bait in PvP. I'm not good at it, in fact I'm a noob in PvP XD. And this is, becuase PvP is about exploding every single advantage the game give to you. We all know that, PvPers (and I'm not saying this as something bad) are not worried for the lore, the roleplaying... Anything but statistics, gear and how take advantage to win everytime. That's what PvP is about. Killing another players and take advantage of anything (without exploits, cheats or bugs of course).
Do remember twins in WoW? Or GW2? Or over powered nukers in Guild Wars: Prophecies?
In the beta, I've seen already people in VR10 when I was at lvl 5 in Cyrodiil. So you want non-transfer campaings... To what exactly? They're going to crush you anyway if you're not a good PvP. PvP is just like the cruel side of Nature. It's about surviving of the strongest. And for being the strongest you don't need time. I'm sure the 90% of PvP newcomers can destroy my VR14 sorcereress in seconds. And, as I sayed before, I'm here since the closed beta.

I completely suck at PvP (I get the shakes with excitement when I actually kill someone hehe!) but PvP in Cyrodiil is a lot of fun - it's not just the PvP it's the whole area, and just taking part.
You're dead right, some people live for it - that's the game they want to play. We can still have fun in it...a bit like going to a football match and not just being a spectator but jumping on the pitch and kicking the ball around. You know you don't stand a chance against the pro players, but you can still have a lot of fun being a part of it. The best things in life make you sweaty.

AdamBourke✭✭✭✭✭I went into ESO-PS4 at midnight last night, having sneakily gotten my code early. Then, I went anywhere other than shadowfen in the EP. There was no-one. It was weird. I guess most people had waited for the official email. PvP is hard without any other P's to v.
It was quite lonely. Not that I would have been able to talk to anyone as I had chat turned off.
On the bright side - I went and did all the group bosses in shadowfen that sometimes take ages to respawn without anyone getting in and killing them first. Sadly I'm not high enough a level to take on the Skyrim ones alone...PS4 - EU
Please put the Eyevea/EarthForge wayshrines back on the map?0 -

Nah he did not lie I know him personally. Same thing happened with all of the BF4 cancels" They only had 75 cancels for that" and I tried to advise people of it .

I am an Elderscrolls fanboy myself and it made me cry to hear.
Also there are guilds with 200+ quality people all over the age of 24 that are not going to buy the console simply because of the BROKEN PvP system that this transfer will bring.

Resipsa131✭✭✭PC transfer here; going to roll a new kit tonight on Xbox. Although all my CP will be there and I could switch to an alt to make items it's going to be knowledge of gAme mechanics that is going to be the advange transfers have over new players. They'll pick it up quickly though, I bought my friend a horse and he's having a blast with the game.0 -
