Blocking and casting is as intended and almost certainly animation canceling also. I don't like the concept of animation canceling but it is not something unheard in video games.
There are some spells that require you to exit the block such as the best spell in the game.

I'm gonna say i completely disagree, I cannot see how animation canceling is intended. Perhaps they cannot figure a simple fix, but I highly doubt they would create a system like that on purpose.
Blocking... I also don't think it was intended for players to simply hold block until out of stamina. But again.. I'm not sure if they know of a fix that wont alienate the PvE tanks.
But it's simply speculation until they comment specifically on the matter.

There have been hundreds of threads about both on this forum alone it isn't like they don't know about block casting and animation canceling. I'm a DK and I never had those kind of issue, really I can only block while I block, you know?now this would explain why some dragonknights dont go down that easily. a major exploit i'd say. you can literally block while casting spells all the time.
has this been noted? zenimax gonna do something to fix this?
