Well any sort of damage will pull you out. I'm pretty sure that's by design.
Like mentioned before dark cloak (all versions imo) is broken because 1) any DoTs that are on a target (such as crippling grasp) will take you right out of stealth which is just a waste of a ton of mana and instead of saving you, it will be a hinderance. 2) Extremely hard to get away from anyone anyways because everything is currently AoE based right now and will take you out of cloak immediately (which makes our concealed weapon skill not as potent). The best way i have found to escape is double or even triple roll cloak and juke them hopefully gaining enough distance. Even doing that though it is still easy to lose cloak. 3) I also feel the cloak is not very long for its mana consumption, but I would rather have the first 2 issues solved.
I believe someone may have said something similar if so right on and I totally agree.

If that's the case, this seems like a huge design flaw, and it's also the reason why I was surprised that @ZOS_JessicaFolsom only mentioned DoTs. In PvP, any damage breaking stealth essentially means that we only have ranged in combat stealth. Even a completely incompetent player will probably still swing their basic attack randomly enough to ruin any attempt at stealthing while in melee combat. I guess it works if you stun the person then stealth, but then you hardly need to be invisible in the first place.
@tsvetan.dimitrov76cub18_ESO
Refreshing Path isn't a dot though. Its a ground based AoE.
Same as Wall of Elements, ect.
DoTs that you apply to a target won't pull you out.

As to whether your OWN DoTs are supposed to be pulling you out, I'm not sure. But I'll try to get that documented as well.
I'm not sure if this is a bug or not but when you try to use dark cloak with the minimum amount of magic (I think its around 300-400 magic for the skill) it will not work unless you have a minimum of 600-700 magic
(To be clear this is with low magic)

We understand what the issues are from your posts, but we could use your help tracking down which DoT abilities are not being removed when Dark Cloak is activated (it does not seem to be a global issue.)

But if damage didn't pull you out of stealth it might be a bit over powered, no? As a NB you can be PERMANENTLY invisible right now if you re-cast every 2.4 secs or so.

One global skill shouldn't be able to totally counter a class defining ability. I agree that mage light should increase stealth detection, but dark cloak needs to be classified as something unique, not stealth.
They already spoke to much about patch 1.2, that pretty much just include night blades. Wait for fek sake!
All proper testing is done in a controlled environment. If it's hectic and it is hitting the fan, some people mistakenly think something is broken even when it is WAI.
