Every single forum page I access, I get an Avast virus (malware) detection: "threat has been detected"

I have reported this to Zenimax.
..Wait a minute....you have a security team? .......

Nothing wrong with Avast--tons better than horror shows like McAffee or Norton.
Obviously, a false positive. I see it as well on a system I'm running Avast on.
G Data has won many awards and is the best on the market atm. Its a reasonable 20 euro a year as well. Does updates every hour.deef85b16_ESO wrote: »That's not always the case, there are free antivirus programs that perform/detect a lot more than some paid ones (Mcafee, Norton for instance in 2013, don't know the exact number as of 2014).The problem is you ar using a free anti virus program, they are not good. They hardly protect against anything. Get GData.
