I thought I read that there will be 3 or 4 gold chest rewards available . . . I get a limit of 2 so far. After the 2, I get only the useless blue boxes.
My friend who played this day ran into a limit to the dailies. The quest givers told him to come back next day. What is the limit?

Thank you!
We also wanted to provide an update on the server progression. We have heard your feedback regarding the rate of progress, and in evaluating the numbers, have decided to ease the needed thresholds across all servers so that players feel their efforts are more rewarded. That adjustment has now been made, and as such, percentage to completion for Phase 1 has been increased across all servers. Each server's progress is independent, and the threshold reduction was applied evenly across all servers. The current updated server progress is also now reflected here: https://www.elderscrollsonline.com/writhingwall. This is a new event-type for ESO and we appreciate your continued feedback as we work to make sure it's an enjoyable and rewarding experience.
Please, please for the love of alkosh make the souls a guaranteed drop... It isn't fun finding and killing 20+ mobs for 1 soul.We also wanted to provide an update on the server progression. I don't get how ZOS can interpret "players want to feel more rewarded" as "please adjust the progress".
This isn't going to improve the optics here. This is going to diminish people's confidence in the bar and further tarnish the event. It feels like you're pushing the event along at this point.
Regardless, this doesn't address the core issues. The bulk of the feedback was focused on drop rates for both quest and reward drops. I see there's been some hotfixes, but overall, it still feels like there's no point in doing more than one event quest a day. There's just not enough goodies dropping.
ZOS think the main reward from the event is people who bought the content pass getting permission to play the rest of the content they paid for, so I guess they interpret "not rewarding enough" as "not progressing fast enough".

10% in 4 days would have meant 40 days until completion. Of Phase 1.

PC NA - I just spent 30 minutes in the Inner Sea Armature ... result ONE, just ONE Vitrified Soul. Why continue ?
PS NA I just spent a few minutes at one siege camp and completed one vitrified soul quest. Got another quest and went to Inner Sea Armature and got five vitrified souls in about 10 minutes, while competing with about four other players. I suggest trying Coldharbour, maybe the public dungeon Village of the Lost. I often get vitrified souls quicker in Coldharbour.
Suggestion: no more bars, they were somewhat reduntant in the past, still worked as something of an incentive, but this? It's just a joke, and not even a good one. Just release the content you must release, and stop trying to make it look like it's on us.
Also I do not like the go-fetch quests. For all the reasons stated by many already. And the rewards? Barely worth the fuss. Past events seemed better. Double farm drops, progress bars for unique items, not content, which again - it must be released, either the bars are "filled" or not.
Conclusion? Let events be events. Add to what exists (existed more like) rather than wipe it all up for something so cumbersome, futile and unecessary for a change. Too much work which could have gone in improving the actual chapter, for a one-time thing, meant to underline said chapter.
And do respect your player base more. The level of issues with which this event landed is beyond unsavory! Paying customers are not PTS testers ( even when they are) - there IS a difference between live and pts - pls respect it!
From my experience, it feels completely arbitrary. Sometimes they drop really fast and almost every enemy carries 1 or even 2, sometimes I kill a dozen and nothing drops. Even at the very same location, on different days.
I appreciate you being a part of the conversation.ZOS_JessicaFolsom wrote: »Hello! We have a Friday update for you all.We will also add a couple of these to the known issues list with their resolutions/recommendations for added visibility.
This event has required too much explaining to understand how to participate, let alone properly get rewards. There's too many areas of confusion, especially when players have to reconcile complex information against which content they've purchased or not. I've had to rely on partner resources like ESO-HUB over official articles.ZOS_JessicaFolsom wrote: »Some of you had reporting not finding any of the Wormwrithe Weapon Outfit pages, and not seeing any in guild traders. We've confirmed that these are Phase 2 item drops and you will not see them until then. We have updated the event article to correct that info.
The issue is about our expectations not the developer expectations. No one's going to put up with poor drop rates because it matches the developer expectations.ZOS_JessicaFolsom wrote: »We've also seen some questions about whether the new Writhing Wall-themed furnishing items are dropping. We've confirmed that they are dropping as expected. We also wanted to let those of you looking know that you will be able to craft those items in the future, too, so this won't be your only opportunity to obtain them.
I hope you guys truly appreciate where this event is for the community at large. Across the forums and Reddit, it's pretty disliked, putting it gently. Time is of the essence. I'd rather you guys make changes, err on the side of generosity, then the event flop and go down in history as yet another debacle. I'm sure you guys have had enough of those.ZOS_JessicaFolsom wrote: »Lastly, we want to acknowledge that we do see and are discussing your feedback about the event quest item drop rates and reward box contents.
