PTS Patch Notes v11.2.3

Welcome to The Elder Scrolls Online PTS v11.2.3! This week, we welcome Whitestrake’s Mayhem back to the PTS rotation, along with more fixes and improvements to the Writhing Wall Event.

The majority of fixes and adjustments in this PTS patch are related to Seasons of the Worm Cult, Part 2 content. From a slew of quest fixes and adjustments and Battle for the Writhing Wall tweaking, there plenty of changes happening to provide a better experience once Update 48 launches.

Base Game also has some bug fixes and adjustments added. Some bug fixes for future events, along with some housing, questing and UI fixes have been added.

All PC EU characters have been copied for testing this week. As always, feel free to provide feedback on PTS v11.2.3 through our feedback and bug threads, located here.

Event: Whitestrakes Mayhem
There are no major changes to this event at this time outside of a new outfit style chase, the Tava’s Goshawk armor set. Old rewards cycle as before, with the Arkay Unending Cycle pages entering the Mayhem grab bag. Future iterations of this event will receive some foundational changes, so stay tuned!

MORPHING COLLECTIBLE NOTE: Assembling morphing collectibles from the 2026 offerings will no longer consume or require the pet. This is by design and intended behavior. You no longer need to reassemble the bat pet to make other offerings; all these collectibles stand alone.

Also note that the Roseblood Bat Pet fragments cost 10 tickets each, as opposed to the previous 5 for consumed base items. The bat will not disappear upon assembling its morphs, as noted. We are currently deciding on how to handle the older collectibles in this regard so as not to leave you with “dead fragments.”

Item Sets

Mythic Sets
- Huntsman's Warmask
  - Reduced the damage done bonus to your marked target from 20% to 15%.
  - Marking a target now grants you Minor Berserk.
  - Antlers will no longer grow out of your neck when wearing the Warmask.

Battle for the Writhing Wall
Crossing the Wall

Fixed an issue with Darien's flavor conversations.
Fixed an issue where Darien would pause following and then disappear.
Worm cultists at the binding shrines will no longer respawn too quickly.
All worm cultists guarding the anchor shrine will now be initially shielded.

Writhing Fortress

Writhing Fortress now has a point of interest icon when active.
Monsters in the zone can now drop items specific to Solstice.
The boss chests now drop the correct amount of items.
You no longer can skip an encounter by going out of order.
Adds in the Harvester fight no longer die after passing the gate threshold in the fight space.
Increased the range at which you can target grapple posts in the final encounter.
We’ve also worked to fix additional minor bug fixes in the Writhing Fortress.

General

Multiple animation improvements for the Blacksmith Personality.

General

Calindvale Gardens (Public Dungeon)
- Updated some sound effects throughout the Public Dungeon.

Achievements

The “Eastern Solstice Cave Delver” achievement is now visible when looking at delves in the Solstice Zone Guide.
Updated the “Hero of Eastern Solstice” achievement to change the West Solstice Grand Adventurer component to East Solstice.
Resolved an issue where the "Kill X World Bosses while Grouped with a Player or Companion" Golden Pursuit task would not progress even when meeting the conditions.
“Lair of the Black Worm Explorer” achievement will now trigger properly when killing the boss.

Antiquities

Some Antiquity Dig Sites in Eastern Solstice have been adjusted.

General

We did some overall zone housecleaning to increase performance metrics overall.

Leaderboards

Leaderboard maximum entries have been increased to 500 from 100.

Lore Library

Letter to Vicereeve Nirenorwe now has a correct icon in the lore library.
Select books with mismatched titles and some unruly floating books in Solstice are now working as intended.
Select books should no longer break you out of stealth when reading them.

General

NPCs should once again move normally through the Sleepy Sloth Inn and Pub.

General

You can now travel to group members within Calindvale Gardens (Public Dungeon).
Many new sounds have been added to various quests and Content.
Fixed a number of floating/buried resource nodes.
Fixed a number of typos and mismatches with voiced dialogue.
Tamar Mine Graveyard no longer as an interaction prompt.
Corrected an issue where Sunport was listed twice in the Zone Guide for Solstice.

Quests

Chasing Shadows
- Corrected a number of VO lines that were playing at the wrong time or not playing at all.
- Updated several NPC appearances and visuals.
- Quest assists for Steal a Worm Cult Disguise now show proper text.
The Deep Tombs of Xul-Haj
- You can now read the Village Notes from your quest inventory.
- Relogging at certain points of the instance no longer blocks quest progression.
- You will no longer see a portal prematurely before it has been properly summoned.
Dismantling the Worm
- Fixed a number of dialogue issues.
The Final Dark
- Staggered group members will now see properly broken gates and other destruction.
- Players will no longer be hit by Soul Flayer’s damage when on separate levels.
- Fixed a number of art related issues.
- Fixed a number of dialogue issues.
- Various NPC followers will no longer follow you at the wrong point in the quest.
- NPCs no longer vanish in front of you when you accept the quest.
- Dying during the “transformation” sequence will now properly respawn you back at the correct location.
- Fixed pathing issues for several monsters inside the instance.
- Fixed several issues that could occur during the final battle upon death/resurrection.
Fleeing the Shadows
- The quest now shares properly amongst group members.
Hunt for the Great Mage
- Soul Flayers now have an appropriate destruction effect.
- Appearances and armor no longer should change at the wrong time on specific NPCs.
To Know the Void
- Fixed an issue with a conversation option based on if you are a member of the Dark Brotherhood.
Lost Among the Ashes
- Updated several names for consistency.
- Fixed several voice over issues.
- You will no longer carry duplicated versions of the same note or book.
Roots in Stone
- Your NPC followers no longer will de-spawn and not re-appear.
- Fixed an issue with Mani-Kai would run off and face off into nothingness during several quest scenes.
- Fixed a number of voice over issues.
The Worm Turns
- Fixed an issue where Skordo said he was going to go one way and ran the other. (Hey, we all do it.)
- Duplicates of Skordo and Razum-dar's will no longer show up.
- Fixed a number of voiceover issues.

General

Leaderboards have been updated to a cap of 500 players.
Cyrodiil leaderboards, as noted in prior PTS updates, are still Character & Class based and have not been updated to be account based.

Vengeance

Addressed an issue that allowed Cost Reduction for Dodge Roll and Sneak to apply in Vengeance.
Addressed an issue that caused XP gains and loot acquisition to not respect your CP Rank.
Navigation issues will no longer cause quickslot keybinds to break on gamepad.
Vengeance Inventory can be searched properly.
Fixed messaging when a Perk was disabled for reasons other than being in invalid locations and ensured disabled perks will have the appropriate visuals.

General

Wet Gunny Sacks should no longer present as empty in rare occurance.

Hearts Week

General
- The Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild Citation items now use more faction-appropriate icons.
Heartsick Follies
- Updated the initial scene with the actors so it does not trigger until you are closer to them.
A Toast to Malcontents
- The mockery of music presented by Samara Gautier is now in place.
- Samara's flirtatious dialogue will no longer loop. Sometimes good things must come to an end.

New Life Festival

General
- Adjusted Anicus Novius’s facial directions to avoid a worried/nervous appearance when offering a quest.
The Cold War
- Moved some NPCs out of interiors that could lead to quest pin confusion.
Food for New Life
- Added a provisioning station near the docks where Lanullin is located.
The Judgment of Garth
- Updated the animations on Garth so he doesn’t clip or jitter.
The Mudman
- You can now perform a variety of dances to satisfy the Mudman during their ritual with Dailonda.

Homes

Cradle of the Worm Colossus
- The Colossus cradle's collision will no longer change across all versions of the home when toggled on or off.
- You can now interact with the Target Worm Colossus with the default placement in the house templates.
Druidspring Conservatory
- Removed the Furnished template from the Crown Store.
- Added furnishings to the Unfurnished template.

Furnishings

Adjusted the selection node for the furnishing “Target Worm Colossus.”
Updated the audio for the furnishing “Target Worm Colossus.”
Updated the tags for the furnishing “Vitrified Soul Gem” to include “interactable.”
Adjusted the precision editing for the “Worm cult Pickaxe, Mining” to match the normal adjustment node.
The furnishings "Worm Cult Candelabra, Cold-Flame" now has the correct icon.
Made minor visual adjustments to “Amethyst Crystals, Teal Cluster” and “Amethyst Crystals, Small Teal Patch.”

General

Fixed a rare crash that could occur when closing the game client while in accessibility mode.

General

The "Welcome to Cyrodiil Vengeance" tutorial now properly appears when on Gamepad.
Certain game settings and Add-On settings have been fixed to save correctly.
