Fate’s Proxy Bugged?

I can’t progress this quest even after abandoning it and starting again. Going to the marked circles at Necrom and Rendys yields nothing. Nobody to talk to, nothing to find, nothing to do. Dead end. Anybody else having issues with this quest?

Hey, i got/had the same problem. (But found out what i did "wrong")

And im 100% sure im at the right place, i got portet here.
I even went to the mush room tower little west off here, but was nothing there.

There are NO NPC at all here.

I then thought i would go and do the "Spirit of Fate", way north of where Leramil the Wise should bee (so i thought).

After i did that quest, i got a portal back to Necrom, and what do you know "Leramil the Wise" was there, after "talking" both quest got completed, looks like that the quests are connected, could had saved me a looot of time knowing this.

Thought i would share it, in case other have the same "problem"

I know at least 10 people in 3 guilds that have this problem...including me. Edit: Read Mannalia's post #5 above. Is correct.

This quest doesn't make any sense. Somehow, I've completed two parts of it and I have no idea how. And now this last part, Investigate Alavelis, I go to the circle but there's nothing there. Quest doesn't point me anywhere else. I don't have the Spirit of the Fate quest that Mannalia so can't go do that. What am I supposed to do at this white circle at Alavelis?
