Give us a reason to keep paying you, Zenimax

For what it's worth, we did make some adjustments to classes in the first PTS patch (4.0.0). We understand it may not be everything that everyone was looking for, but you can't deny it was there. In the 4.0.1 patch notes, we stated additional balance (not class balance) would be coming - which it was, with the item sets and a few other abilities.
You can expect to see the start of some balance changes for combat abilities and item sets in the next PTS patch.

The post I made a few days ago stated that we wouldn't be doing any more class balance for the remaining PTS patches, but would be focusing on other aspects and bug fixes. This doesn't mean we won't ever do more class balance ever again, but we wanted to make it clear it wouldn't be happening with the remainder of the PTS patches for this cycle. Balancing in an MMO is never really finished, and if there were perfect balance, then a battle between two equal players would be endless.

We also never said the Class Reps would be announced last month. That was the deadline to submit your nominations.

Zenimax is doing a great job.

They're coming out with a new expansion in two weeks, what more can these snow flakes want?

Maybe the same level of quality expected from any other AAA mmo expansion for a similar price? Of course that’s subjective, but you did ask.

I think ZOS presents a better product than any other AAA mmo expansion...
If there is an MMO that does something better, the best idea is for people to go play that instead of whining and moaning....
    DONE and DONE...

Yeah, all that is very nice, but waht about the bussiness model? Scam crates and all that? Subs keep paying and all playerbase recieves in more monetizaion, more grind and more RNG.

4.0.0 introduced changes to classes that are almost uniformly unappreciated. They didn't address the pain points people have been laying out in PTS feedback threads since at least Morrowind, and introduced new changes that will make the game worse for many players.

It's true that balancing is never really finished, but that doesn't doesn't really describe the situation here. When it comes to the things people are talking about in this thread and others like it (magplar PVP and PVE DPS balancing, magwarden balancing, etc.), it just doesn't feel like we're making progress toward anything or that balance is slow but ongoing -- it just feels like nothing is happening to move things forward at all (since those classes' pain points haven't been addressed, and in some cases have been multiplied, since at least the Morrowind patch).

I mean, does the dev team not realize that class balance changes are by far the biggest thing many of us look forward to in each new patch? A new place to explore is nice, but first I want my class to work. That's true for many players across all skill levels.

    thanks for the clarification.

good to hear a quiet, sane voice in a thread like this.

White knights never learn. Telling people to go play something else is a great way for... wait for it... running people off. So when your precious closes up shop because not enough people play it anymore, then what?

This is the numbskull who thinks everyone should sit on their thumbs for half an hour while he meticulously combs through every dialogue tree for every npc in a dungeon while everyone else is trying to do a pledge.

I’m 90% he’s just some kid with way to much time on his hands trying to troll the forums with bs
