Constant 1100-1500 latency after login and then the game crash+login issue(PC EU)

Hello,
There is ongoing issue with logging to the PC EU server during prime time(about 16:00 GMT to 22:00 GMT).
Just after I log to my character, the latency to the PC EU server is between 1100-1500(I checked in the resource monitor) and after 10-20 seconds the game crash to the login screen.
Also, I'm having trouble at login in those hours of the day.
Most of the time, I receive the error: "Unable to connect to game server. Please make sure you have a valid internet connection".

My internet connection is fine and my computer meets the necessary requirements.
I tried everything to solve it on my own but nothing helped:
I flushed the dns, repaired the client, opened ports, deleted the shadercache.cooked and usersettings.txt files, reinstalled the game.

Please join this thread if you have also suffered from this issue.
Any information which could help solve this, will be most welcomed.

Same here Log in with 1k ping then it goes down to 50-70 then just keep getting 3+k lag spikes which means I cant do anything in game because as soon as I get into combat it starts to spike and I either get booted to login screen with no error message or rubber band everywhere.

Theres nothing more annoying than riding all the way from a keep in Cyro to a fight only to jump in spike and die because everything freezes around you for 5/6 seconds!

Same issue on NA server.

It happened 2 weeks ago, and it was a ESO server problem. (Most likely a regional ban of some kind)
Today, it began again... Cant log in, crashes after 5 seconds (with no eror mesage), latency is off the roof.

Frustating.

I have been on the NA PC/Mac server all night. If you are in Cyrodiil, that is one thing, but in Wrothgar, Craglorn, Glenumbra, and other PVE places, no problems.

Edit: Average latency over 254 minutes today was 126ms with a max of 672 and a min of 79, 64-bit client, no crashes.

doubt it is a DDOS attack, my friend was experiencing no lag yet it was unplayable for me. tested my speed/ping and it wasnt on my end.

This issue has not been resolved.
Each time I log to a character on PC EU server, I get kicked to the login screen(prime time: about 15:00/16:00-22:00/23:00 GMT).
Now it is even worse, I'm not able to even see a loading screen before the kick, there is simply an icon in character selection screen: "requesting character load..." and after 30-40 seconds I get kicked to the login screen.

The issue is at your side, not the client.
There are 2 important facts which prove that the issue is at ZOS side:
1)The issue is timed based, it is not possible to login in certain time of the day(prime time: about 15:00/16:00-22:00/23:00 GMT) but it is possible to login in late night or early morning.

2)So many people experience the same issue, why every single one of them are unable to connect ? The most logical answer: There is a connectivity or ip block issue at ZOS side... perhaps side effect from a bug in the DDOS protection ?
All those who have similar ips which are somewhat related to the DDOS attacker's regional ip are blocked in a certain time of the day but not completely.

DDOS ? everyday in prime time and hundreds or even thousands of players are unable to access their accounts ?
This is unacceptable and I request immediate assistance.

@ZOS_GinaBruno Please give an ETA for the fix or at least mention that you're working on it.
I know you're very busy and perhaps 99% of ESO population are not having this issue, but it will be most appreciated if you could assist.
If I understand correctly, the ips which are blocked only need to be white listed and then find a better way to fight a DDOS(without blocking players within the same region/suspected region of the attacker).

I literally cannot play: latency is jumping from 150 to 999, occasional disconnects to login screen. I've tried to ping game server IP address, it looks fine, no lost packets etc.

It started a week ago for me.

Can you please solve this issue before your weekend break ? If you actually are working today ?
If it won't be solved today, it is yet another weekend in which many people unable to login between the hours of 13:00 GMT to 22:00 GMT.
The issue is even more severe in weekends...literally login errors all day long.

Just canceled my subscription. After a couple days of finally getting through the black screen bug, I really started to enjoy the game.

Then 2 or 3 days of flawless performance, a patch and right back to not being able to reach character selection screen.

Glad I only paid 12 dollars for the game.

Exactly my problem, 2 tickets and no solution yet, i have almost a week since i submitted my first ticket, even though i have been having this problem since the anniversary event, but i've been trying all the fixes and tests that ZoS gives you about solving latency issues, but the tests were very clear, my connection is fine, i can even play other mmos with no problem at all, so it must be some server thing that do not let us log into the game.

Hope some tech guy reads this and answer my ticket, it could be that DDos problem that some of you mentioned or it could be some weird bug that only some ppl is experiencing, at least i am not the only one.

I paid more than $100 over the years on this game...game+crown purchases.
I have no desire to receive a refund at this point, even if it was possible.
ZOS needs to fix their game.
I believe they are obligated to allow access to the game.

I think this is the time they need to wake up and realise that this issue is bigger than 1 ticket/few random persons...

A lot of players have tolerated this issue for months.
Why are we restricted to play in early morning or night & the rest of the community can login at any given time ?
This is not fair.
I'm #43 in an active Cyrodiil campaign and I only play for 1-2 hours per day. I can only imagine what would have happened if I played 6 or more hours...

You are so right bro, this is clearly not an isolated issue, several users are suffering of this.
I've spent abot 100 dlls too and i like the game, i dont want a refund, i want my game back, i really want to play and enjoy of this, so @ZOS_JanS @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_AmeliaR @ZOS_KaiSchober @ZOS_GaryA @ZOS_TristanK, could you do something to help us get the help we ask, its been like 3 days since i last got response from tech support and no more news, not even a mail telling me that they are working on it or if there is something else that they need.

Hey guys, i may have found a possible fix for this, i forced TESO to run using DX9 insted 11, it seams that is going normal, i got no latency peaks now, i got 1 game crash to desktop but no disconnections at the moment, you may try it and see if it fixes it.

I experience exactly the same more or less.
I have played the game fine for 1 year. But now I end up back to my login screen every 5 minutes when I try to play.

This game is not playable for me atm. I have made a ticket for this for the support.
I have tried to troubleshoot a lot myself and followed many advices (also some of the above) I did a final reinstall yesterday but I have same problems

I love the game though, I cross fingers there is a solution for this

Lots of lag at prime time during the last week, over 1000ms, US server, makes the game unplayable. I'm not even in Cyrodiil lol.
