OUCH!!
Thant stinks. I'll bet though by the time you get the recipe and the other mats you'll have plenty of fish. Although I'll bet you would have made a killing selling them on the GAH today. I think those of us who've been part of MMORPGs for a while have done this exact kind of thing. "Oh, no use for this, might as well free up some bag spac/bank space".......the next day

Why do you keep posting this? It's not P2W. You can get it in-game, therefore it's not P2W. If it was crown-store only, it might be P2W, and not even then, since it's only making you level faster and not giving you any other advantage like god-tier gear.

If the ingredients/potions are so hard to acquire that you are forced to go Cash Shop to get them in order to stay competitive (or even relevant), then it is P2W and there's not really room for argument there.

Also, CPs give bigger advantage than any god-tier gear I've seen in other MMOs. Difference between 200-300 alone is around 20-30% damage and by gaining more XP than your competition, you gain more of that power.

@ZOS_GinaBruno Can I clarify a couple of things please
- Anyone can obtain the fish roe, with the same chance irrelevant of any skill lines - I think that's how I read it, but just want to make sure
- Taken together, someone who is both a fully-ranked Brewer and Connoisseur creating Psijic Ambrosia for their own use will get a total of three hours and twenty minutes of Experience boost from a single crafting of the recipe. - Can someone elaborate further on this please?
- The actual bottle neck here is obtaining the recipe, in 7 pieces, that can ONLY be achieved via provisioning writs? - So similar to the whole Dwemer thing...

All scaled consumables scale every 5 Veteran Ranks since the system is slightly different before and after VR.

will the complete potion (not the recipee) ever make its way to the crown store, @ZOS_GinaBruno ?ZOS_GinaBruno wrote: »@ZOS_GinaBruno Can I clarify a couple of things please

To answer a couple of your questions, anyone can obtain fish roe, and the recipe pieces can only be obtained through Privisioning Writs. We purposely made Psijic Ambrosia slightly difficult to obtain and craft due to it being such a powerful item!
