Last night I was finishing up Doomcrag in Rivenspire, in the second to last room.
The opponents are 2 lvl 30 undead, followed by a lvl 30 gargoyle. There was no way to stop the opponent spawning. the supposed que to destroy certain devices never appeared. I ended up in continuous combat for slightly over an hour killing 2 undead followed by a gargoyle every 40 seconds or so. Burned over 30 potions, had to re-provision mid battle, totally discharged my sword, and wrecked my armor to 50%.
It did raise me one whole level though
Plus I also had the 'beating your spell to the opponent' thing happen all night.

Thanks for the translation. That is an incredibly interesting comment. And only in German? o.O I'm no programmer, but I've been playing MMOs for 2 decades and this would be the first one where performance doesn't degrade if left unattended for weeks and weeks.

That said, we are planning to release patch 1.5.8 next Monday, and will continue to keep an eye on performance and any potential critical issues. If we feel a maintenance before next week is necessary, we'll get something scheduled and will let you know.

Perhaps it is an example of the boy who cried wolf?
People rabidly complain about small/minor things all the time. They threaten to quit and predict the demise of ESO over (sometimes) inconsequential things.
Perhaps it becomes difficult as a Dev to know which are the threads that truly need attention. I mean if they did a reset or a quick patch for every flame-thread on the forums, the servers would never be available to play on.

Silly post, this is wide spread there are about 6 threads in different forums all floating around about this.

Yes, that's why we're continuing to keep an eye on performance.
