Stuck in Eastmarch on "Party Planning" quest

I am on the quest "Party Planning" at the part where I need to put on "Dummer Cultural Garb". I press E to put on the clothes and few seconds later my char dose. However when I go meet "Rigurt" near the docks I can not interact with him. No prompt shows up saying to press E or anything.

I also can not interact with anything in the zone, not even the wayshrine. I can not draw my weapon or use any of my abilities, even when I walk out of the town and get attacked by mobs. I seem to be completely stuck and unable to perform any action other than walking around

Never mind. After walking back and forth from town a few times it worked.

Hey there @WycombeWanderer,

Do you happen to have another disguise equipped when accepting this prompt? If so, please try removing your current disguise and then give a try to the quest again. Let us know if it helps!

Same issue here, I'm getting "Item not ready yet" when I hit E, sometimes the outfit actually gets put on after a minute but them my character is bugged, can't weapon swap, use abilities, activate or use any buttons except for movement. Have to restart the game, abandon the quest, re-do the last step again to start over and end up with the same problem.

Hey there @Karnus,

Try moving around the space where the E prompt is available. We've had an occassion in the patch where the area that triggered the prompt to show up did not match the eligible area for the item to be used. If you're able to use it a few feet away, let us know and we'll be sure to take a look at the eligibility areas.

I gave it a try but to no avail, even tried removing all dye from my gear, removing all of my gear.

Same here, I abandoned and restarted this quest 4 times now, to no avail. Just end up walking around with "E - put on Dunmer cultural garb" stuck on my screen and unable to interact with anything or anyone. Even after abandoning quest option "E - put on Dunmer cultural garb" stays on the screen until I log out of the game.

Update: nope, still not working.

Welp ..I just went ahead and finished all of the other quests in the zone then went back to give it a final try and it worked randomly.

I had deleted mine not knowing it was relevant for the end of the mission. If you go to the building just NW of the bank and search the haystack I was able to get another pair from there.
