I am annoyed by the fact somehow this issue of camps being dropped in these area was fixed and now post patch is broken again letting people exploit the issue.

On the other hand its nice that AD are so desperate to win they need to cheat this way and any respect I had for certain members of AD are well and truly gone.

Personally I still think the people found doing this should minimum be kicked by GM for at least 2 days as the whole 'oops I didn't realise' defence is gone with them continuing to use this exploit ZENIMAX have started again. AND yes I blame Zenimax just as much if not more as the exploiters. I also suggest the other factions don't lower themselves to the level of AD by trying the same 'Strategy' that someone else above tried to explain.. Isnt a strategy its exploiting broken code.

if there are people behind a close gate, the people that LEAD IT need to be punished. idk what to say about people simply porting to the camp when they see it. some know that you have to have certain keeps to open the gate, some do not. but the people that led it need to be dealt with. Will something be done? I highly doubt it.

This is where you're very wrong.

This behavior isn't helping AD win... this behavior, if anything, is actually crippling our ability to compete by reducing the number of AD actively attacking and defending.

Not only do we continually have an entire Guild (+) off farming... some of them are now exploiting to farm... lol facepalm.

Only a small faction of the AD have been behaving this way. The bulk of us are innocent, embarrassed... and openly chastising the guilty in Zone Chat.

A forward camp deployed behind an Elder Scroll Gate is not an exploit if it isn't deployed in a starter area. A forward camp deployed in a starter location such as Northern Highrock Gate or Eastern Elswyr Gate however is something our CS agents are looking at and actioning as they occur as enemy alliance players should not be in those locations.

Thank you the clarification on this.
These are the kinds of posts we need to see when bugs or questions come out, a clear answer that lets players know what actions they can or can not take.
There have been too many "grey areas" about PVP exploiting and no one knows what's fair game and what isn't any more.

I agree with this sentiment. I only saw a few of the elitists, high rank farmers exploiting. Most of AD was far south trying to reclaim their keeps.

    Sigh...So it seems.

We will be back here in a month discussing the same thing once again because the real problem isn't being dealt with. The explanation for a house being robbed is not a faulty door lock...it's the thief. Install a new lock and the thief will take the window. Lock the window and the thief will break the window. If you want to stop the Thief put him in jail.

As far as i know, not a single account has been banned for any of this.

At one point, people had forward camps *outside* the actual visible map and one could walk around all of Cyrodiil on the outside!

If you did this in Ultima Online you would be put in a 4x4 pixel cell until a gm dealt with you. Funny , considering the name of the guy leading this little exploit, knowing its a cheat.

just because you can do something doesn't always mean you should do something, for instance, I still have a enemy wayshrine I could port to but I don't because I'd rather play the game then take a chance of not playing the game. willpower is like a muscle if you exercise it regularly it gets easier to use.

lol - i remember those cells - you were like little bee larvae in all these cells bunched up next to each other waiting for the Spanish Inquisition to come and start interrogating you - the GM's there wore red hooded robes

A negative consequence is an active deterrent. The fact that it is not 100% effective against all cases does not mean that it is not effective. That is an error of division.

Providing no apparent reason not to exploit in this game will do nothing but reward those who exploit and make fools of those who do not.
