No, you CAN NOT do that. Several people have tried.

I can confirm this worked for me. I purchased a Steam copy, and I did not activate any new account. I simply used my existing account to log in through Steam.

Hey, @IcyDeadPeople. No, if you were to purchase the game again through Steam, you would not be able to apply the key to your existing account.

Anyway it was something.
No, AIUI Valve wouldn't allow it as they made no cash from the sale. Was there ever a change made to this? .... I havent bothered playing since my ESO was an imperial pre-order and isnt part of the steam community. I pretty much only play games on steam these days, so havent been on ESO much even after the Tamriel Unleashed patch.
TLDR: Did they ever give the pre-orders the ability to put it on steam? (non-steam game is not what I mean)
ZOS_AmeliaR wrote: »If you already own ESO and would like to play via Steam, you can add your existing title to Steam. To do this, go to the “Games” option within Steam and select “Add Non-Steam Game to My Library.” Then, select the checkbox next to “The Elder Scrolls Online” and click “Add Selected Programs.”
anyone knows if this problem is solved?
i've been away for a long time. since ESO became available on steam i decided to wait until i could move my game progress for an account on steam. i'm willing to buy the game again but i want it on steam.
can i do that already?
