Been trying to log for 4 hours...

It's now 6 am. I have been trying to log in for roughly 4 hours on an off. I try every 30-45 mins and always get a time out on the login attempt.

You guys are a disgrace. I have just cancelled my account. I have had enough of your ***. Good luck with your unsupported buggy game!

    I am sorry to inform you about this, but if you get "Login Timeout" you have most likely been hit with the so-called "Error 301". You could try the following:
    Log in to your account on https://account.elderscrollsonline.com
    Sign the new Terms of Service agreement.
    [...]
    Please try the following:
    Reboot router/modem
    Connect your computer via cable (not wireless).
    [...]
    In addition, you may want to check that your router has not blocked access through the following ports:
    • TCP / UDP Ports 24100 through 24131
    • TCP / UDP Ports 24500 through 24507
    • TCP / UDP Ports 49100 through 54000
    [...]
    Also, try a clean boot to disable background programs that could potentially be blocking the connection ...

    None of my ports are blocked.
    I have been dowloading and accessing Youtube and other websites without any problem so it's not an internet connection problem. i did reboot the computer because I though the program might be crashed but it did not help.
    I am using a wired connection.

    301 is a server end issue. nothing you can do will help it.
    The only fix is a server restart.
    This means you can not play until the scheduled server restart day.

    If you want proof of this try longing into EU if you are having 301 on US and vice versa. =)

    If you do try to test it you will need to re-download the whole game again because ESO-EU and ESO-US are so dramatically different that they require their own clients to run =)

    ps: support who try to tell you to trouble shoot ports and reboot modems are simply trying to buy time till the next restart

    Me and a few other guys are having the same problems,I've Reset my modem, Repaired my client (Now re-installing my client), Don't know what to do, I contacted CS and they told me a few things I could try, If you find a fix please let me know.

    the US and EU clients are really not different other than than the folder name. there is The Elder Scrolls Online and The Elder Scrolls Online EU.

    the version ID files will contain different details, so need to be removed, but the client rewrites them, and can be repaired.

    I run both NA and EU and have only installed from disc, download patch etc for the NA copy. the launcher is a bit fiddly, and has changed with this last patch, but it looks like it can do the repair now properly. before you had to update manually, not with the repair function. now the launcher see both copies properly and you just use the location tab to switch between clients.
