Yes PLEASE! I hated SWTOR cause it made my SORC wear a dress until Legacy Gear was developed and I could wear pants again.

Yep agreed. Bad enough the colors are garbage on anything under level 50; having to run around in an apron just twists the knife.

Yes please. During leveling i wore a jerkin and really liked it. I was sad to have to let it go when I crafted my max lvl armor.

I agree.. Tired of losing out on % points and bonuses because I have to make a med/heavy armor chest piece so that my character is wearing realistic gear.. Why do game dev's think that all people want to wear a dress(robe)!?!?

    ^ This , so this! ^

I really hate those 'thigh plates' flapping around! They spoil the look of a nice robe as it is.

We have 'hide helmet' already - how about adding 'hide skirt' 'hide pauldrons' and 'hide thighplate' ? That would allow a bit more customisation without having the character running around nekkid!

RIP Atherton, my beautiful little gentle friend. I will miss you forever. Without you I am a hollow shell.

They're working on a dye system per 1.2.x patch notes. It even has a pic of the dye system.
And so did many brave men, women, and beast fall to the end of Beta, never to be heard from again. All that is left, is whispers of the adventures they had.

If they let us craft the jerkin that's already in game, they don't need the color-wheel so badly.

My guess is that the dye colors would need to be morphed/tweaked/nerfed and buffed several times for a few patches and break all kinds of stuff from other patches that would have to be looked into, studied, and prioritized for months before not getting fixed anyway..... to partially achieve the happiness we would get from ditching the dress for practical garb already, as already stated, IN THE GAME.

    Edit: danged speeling erorrs.

Making Jerkins craftable would give Clothing ONE MORE DAMN ITEM to farm traits for.

Why not just add a button to every robe that would say "Cut skirt" that would cut the skirt off a robe and you'd get a Jerkin from it? Pretty much the way Transforming to Imperial Style works right now..

For now my character runs around in Stormfist Disguise rather than displaying ugly-colored de-synch (warlock robe is VR1 - brown, other items are VR4 - light blue) outfit.. not to mention Stormfist looks bloody sexy on any character.

Agree. Makes sense to be able to craft them. It's pretty weird that you can find them all over in the world but not craft them

I want to be able to craft heavy armor skirts.I'm a girl and my nethers demand the right to breathe free while slashing and hacking my way across Tamriel. Running around in a bathrobe just doesn't cut it. Kilts for my male characters would be nice two cause nothing beats the boyz having free range

My character who most wants a jerkin is a female, but she wants a jerkin for the same reason.

Either give us the option at crafting to do the light armour torso piece as a robe or a jerkin (note: this would not be making the jerkin a new piece that requires traits to be researched all over again), or give us the option to convert a robe to a jerkin in the same way that items can be converted to Imperial style.

Jerkins would be nice, I don't like the robes as they currently are.
I would accept robes if they were more like a long coat (ie a gap at the front), but the dress look does nothing for my MALE Sorceror.

Or even full on costume slots. If we have to wear cloth, let us at least have the illusion of armor of our choosing.

The option to convert your gear to a costume would be nice. That way, if you really like the look of the level 16 gear, you can keep that look into vet levels while still wearing gear of the appropriate level. Also, it would alleviate this "you have to wear a robe if you want cloth" issue.
